Hunderfossen Hotel & Resort

I had some magic Daddy daughter moments at the hotel and park.

Pros: The setting. This valley is absolutely stunning. The atmosphere in the hotel is relaxed and easy for families. The Lego table is a simple but joyous element. Hunderfossen is a magical little park for young ones to explore troll folklore.

Cons: The building is dated. The food is decent enough but a shade on the expensive side for what it is.

Pros: It was in a beautiful forest setting. It is just a couple of minutes to the Hunderfossen adventure park. It is an incredible fairyland experience.

Very nice accommodation.

Pros: The hotel and staff were wonderful, very nice of them to have a little game of finding the baby trolls tails on the bed and exchange them for candy. Very nice breakfeast, it is a hotel for famillies and well thought on having some children activities. We also liked the Lilleputhammer park near by, we visited next day. Very close to a lot of restaurants.

Cons: We were a bit dissapointed with the room size. There was enough space for just a bed and 2 bunk beds for the children mounted on the wall. For us it matter as we caught a rainy day and couldn't be out a lot. Also they do not have Netflix so the children had to entertain with some of our nerves :D

Pros: Stayed overnight, wished we could stay longer because there's a lot of activities for kids. The room was comfortable for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children).

Pros: Very nice place, when we wrrived, there was even a welcome soup! Even then there were not so many people, the sauna was switched on. Very nice breakfast.

Perfect family ski trip.

Pros: Excellent for a family trip. Boys loved the buffet.

Cons: Beds where way to soft, same as before. Change to firmer beds and everything will be perfect.

fair for that price

Pros: Price-performance ratio is right for the high season. Cheapest offer in town.

Lovely place to stay and would definatley recommend.

Pros: Good location, access to Hafjell was only a short 5min drive down the road. Breakfast was good and freshly made. Lounge and fire place made the hotel feel homely.

Cons: The standard rooms on the top floor are a little small and would not recommend for 4 people in one room, but are fine for 2 people. Beds are a bit soft, but again not a big issue and didn't affect sleep. No milk provided in the bedroom, so had to remember to pick some up from the restaurant the night before. TBH these were minor issues and didn't stop us from having a great stay!

Pleasant and joyful

Pros: Fantastic building, nice location and surroundings. Good equipment and arrangements for children. Bus that takes you to the skiing but otherwise not far by car.

We had a great time, perfect for a ski holiday

Pros: Perfect for our skiing holiday - ski bus stopping right at the door of the hotel, beautiful interior in the “winter wood cabin” style, friendly stuff, nice bathroom

Cons: Overall it was a great stay and I didn’t mind these things that much, but what stopped me from giving this place 10 stars are: - poor choice for breakfast (it had everything we needed but quickly got boring cause it was the same everyday) - very small room - it was already a bit tight for us (2 adults) staying in the room and I can’t imagine a full family staying there - two single beds instead of a double bed
