Good hotel for a stop-over while traveling Norway.

Pros: Scandic Hønefoss is located in the center of Hønefoss. Attractions and restaurants can be found in walking distance. The room we stayed in had reasonable size and offered enough comfort for a pleasant stay. However, if you are planning for a longer stay or you are traveling with a lot of luggage you‘ll find that there’s not a lot of storage space in the room. You can hang some clothes but that’s it. Therefore you may consider checking with the hotel staff upfront which room category is best for your needs. The breakfast was very good with lots of things to choose from.

Cons: The hotel doesn’t have its own parking lot which means one must either use the charged parking area across the street (NOK 269.- per day) or look for a FOC alternative elsewhere.
