Great value for money friendly staff and close to everything

Pros: I enjoyed the large double room & comfy bed on 3rd floor with the big plasma . The breakfast meny is simple & filling & staff is very laid back and it’s ideal as it’s in the centre short walking distance everywhere

Cons: The bathroom had a funny smell it’s probably common since it’s older building I put some chlorine in the toilet and it went .

Nice traditional hotel, good for an overnight stop travelling across Norway

Pros: Traditional Hotel central in the town. Reasonably priced, nice old features preserved. A good breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: We had no complaints apart from paying for parking at the hotel, which seemed excessive. And as a destination Hønefoss does not have a lot to offer.

Pros: There was picture of elefant on wall. Room was extremely luxurious. Room was well furnished. Bed was really comfortable.

Cons: Dividing wall from the grand staircase to the rooms was modern, instead of the elegant older look of the rest of the hotel. It looked a bit out of place.

Great Hotel..great staff!

Pros: A fantastic comfortable stay.The staff were awesome,great location in a scenic town.We sat in an area outside the back entrance and met a great couple from Norway.Very friendly atmosphere.Sitting room was awesome,where we played a few games!
