Pleasant stay with a warm host

Pros: I stayed here three nights and it was a great experience. The owner was very flexible with my check in which made my arrival really easy. He provides great company and if you are into talking you will enjoy the stay here. The house is really charming. It is a good distance from the city however, so better have a car when arriving here.

Cons: Bear in mind this is a shared house. People who are looking for undisturbed privacy may not be into the stay here.

Pros: Simple accommodation inside a family house close to the airport (good for early flights). Good breakfast (we even tasted fresh crab!). Very helpful and welcoming host, passionate for humanity.

It's a budget option near the airport.

Pros: The host is super friendly. He also gave us a small tour around the island, showing us around. He also has an electric bicicle he might borrow if you want. You can check-in/out at any time.

Cons: The kitchen floor was always dirty (children in the house).. wear your slippers or whatever. Breakfast included meant: Take what is in the fridge ..I didn't find anything to eat the first morning.. Other days I was wiser and brought my food.

Pros: Thanks to the owner for the hospitality and showing off the surroundings, and especially thanks for the tent! A great place to relax and explore the island. You can ride a horse, stay overnight on the beach.

If you want a clean urban apartment or hotel with check in/out, a comfortable bed and big private space, this place

Pros: Like a home stay. Terje, the home owner, is a great character. Helpful instructions on how to get to his house. He is full of personality. He took us out on his boat, he cooked us crab and showed us how to eat it, we shared a meal and he took us to the airport so early in the morning. He was kind and shared with us about his life. We learnt a lot about Norway and Terje and we will never forget our stay.
