Pros: Small but clean and tidy room, very comfortable bed. There is everything in this apartment what you need kitchen equipment and towels cause you share that flat with the owner. Kjell is a lovely person who shared his warm and cozy place with us. The dinner which we could enjoy together was seriously great and gave a chance to know the Norway better.

Pros: Everything was wonderful. The host is a very calm and friendly person. Kjell treated me to dinner, and I felt as if I had come to visit relatives or a good friend. The room was warm, clean, and cozy. If I come to Ålesund again, I will definitely stay here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

A little paradise on earth

Pros: The warm welcome and the kindness of the owner, the amazing ocean view from the balcony. The confortable bedroom. All the equipment of the flat.

Very nice stay

Pros: Host was very friendly, helped us with the parking place and we had a nice talk. The house was very close to the city center. It was clean and comfortable. The view front the balcony was amazing.

Very enjoyable, would come back!

Pros: The apartment is very nice, and the host, Kjell, was friendly and accommodating. The real crowning jewel of the place is the covered balcony, with a stunning view on the fjord and the pier! It’s very cosy to sit at the table and watch the sea, and is nice and cool when it gets hot outside. The location is also very good, you can get to the beating heart of Ålesund within 10-15 minutes on foot, which is ideal.

Cons: The room was a bit warm but at the high of summer and facing south it’s normal. Staying on the balcony instead of in the room when resting helped with that!

Perfect gelegen en bekostigbare homestay voor een bezoek aan Ålesund

Pros: De gastheer is een vriendelijke en behulpzame man, en deelt graag advies en kennis. Het apartement heeft een prachtig uitzicht en alle voorzieningen zijn er om te kunnen koken enz. Het dorp is binnen makkelijke loopafstand, en zeer de moeite waard om te exploreren. De Jugendstil gebouwen van Ålesund zijn wereldberoemd! Vanuit het dorp is het per auto makkelijk om de andere eilanden te bereiken, en er is geen gebrek aan mooie uitzichten en natuur.

Cons: Geen klachten. Houd er rekening mee dat het een homestay is, en dat de eigenaar er ook woont. De eigenaar heeft ons echter in alle opzichten gerespecteerd en geaccommodeerd.
