Meltzers Apartments

Pros: Amazing location, all amenities that you would need. Extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated

Cons: Paintwork looks a little grubby and could do with a refresh and as it was December, some fairy lights or a little tree would have been a nice touch but all in all a lovely apartment in a fantastic location 😁

Pros: Right in the centre of town, 5 minutes walk from tram stop from the airport. Supermarket 2 min walk. Bars & restraunts 5 min walk.

Cons: No complaints at all . House was imaculate, with everything we needed, also had washing mashines and dryer along with a dishwasher. Also had a full size cooker with plenty of dishes and glasses.

Lovely apartment central to Bergen

Pros: Beautiful apartment with everything you'd need, very clean, hosts were very helpful and communicative. Short walk (about 20 mins or so for us but then my mum is in her seventies to be fair lol) into Bergen centre and the harbour. Also a very short walk to the train station. Bergen itself is stunning and I would definitely go back.

Cons: The only thing I would warn people of are the steps. It's not a criticism in any way, but these are old buildings and there were two flights of steep stairs up to the apartment.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, washing facilities, kitchen....i wish we could have booked it longer!

Pros: Very nice location close to everything. Walking distance to the port. Flat recently refurbished, nice and very clean. Local tips by the owner very helpful.

Cons: The fact that when we arrived the beds were not made and we had to use the provided duvet covers and sheets to make the beds. Imagine arriving on a late flight and having to do this.Also we were asked to remove the bed linen upon departure. Rooms downstairs were a little small but OK. The storage for clothes was a little inadequate for the number of guests and there was nowhere to hang the bath towels.

Pros: Very responsive and helpful hosts. We had originally booked another property in Bergen where the host turned unresponsive when we reached the location. Thankfully Christine was very quick to respond and we could simply book this new property and walk into it in no time. Well set up apartment, big enough to accommodate our group of 3 adults and 2 children.

A convenient property with attractive decor and comfortable bedrooms.

Pros: Very convenient location for accessing the centre of Bergen. The apartment was on the small side but was very clean and modern. The beds were comfortable. The lounge area was also comfortable and we had two pleasant evenings watching TV and relaxing.

Cons: We found the cooking equipment in the kitchen very limited. Only there for two nights so we managed but could be better.

Great location, comfortable apartment

Pros: Spacious, great location, well equipped, comfortable, good wifi.

Cons: Second bedroom was very, very small. Really not ok for a couple. We also had to make up our own beds. This is not a great welcome. I would expect beds to be made ready for guests. An extractor fan in bathroom would be helpful.

Comfortable, convenient and elegant

Pros: Beautifully decorated - very elegant. Spacious for a family of four. Everything worked well apart from minor issues with a couple of blinds. Very clean and fresh. Cosy with good heating. Very comfortable beds and sofa. Easy walk to centre of town. Convenience store a 2 minute walk away. Plenty of dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, laundry pods, kitchen roll in apartment. Nothing for annoying than having to buy 40 plus dishwasher tabs when you only need 2. Very quiet area. No night noise at all.

Cons: More bedding would have been nice - blankets or extra duvets. Bit skimpy on bedding. Apartment was not cold, we just prefer to sleep in a cooler room with more bedding. Kitchen is very small, even for making very basic meals. Storage wasn’t the best and nowhere to put food in kitchen. Would have found a mop/swiffer handy for wet boots in the hall. Having to make up beds on arrival is strange compared to other places, but we knew in advance and this seems to be a standard thing in Bergen.

Very comfortable apartment. Easy walking access to shops and public transport. Great hosts.

Pros: This two bedroom apartment is superb. Located in a lovely building with secure entry. 8 min walk to the bus or train station. 5 min walk to Bergen town centre. Supermarket and smaller convenience stores very close by. All easy to get to. It’s really comfortably furnished and has everything needed for a home from home. Communicating with the hosts was very easy and replies were very prompt.

Cons: There are stairs to get from entrance hallway up to the apartment. There is no lift. Not many stairs but they could be a challenge to anyone with mobility issues.
