Celestial Bergen Central Apartment

Great Host, a bit iffy on timeliness of some services otherwise amazing apartment and good stay.

Pros: Best location particularly for us as it was near the conference venue.

Cons: No elevators so if you have many bags, the entry and exit dates would be a bit tiresome.

Pros: The apartment is very well designed. It is very modern, and we had more than enough space for our group. The kitchen has all the equipment you need for cooking.

Cons: Parking for cars is not allowed on the street for non-residents, and the parking garages cost quite a lot for storing a car.

Pros: Nice and cosy, all the equipment required was there, even a few pods of coffee to start your day and everything you need in the kitchen to prepare a nice breakfast. Perfect location, close to center and important sights in Bergen

Pros: Beautiful apartment in Bergen, walking distance to the city center, port, fish market, etc. Recently refurbished, equipped with all that we needed for a short family stay in Bergen. Floor heating in the bathroom was a bonus that we enjoyed!

Cons: The building is under construction, and the entrance door looked as some temporary solution. There's no lift in the building, and the stairs are narrow. Parking is 10min walking distance, in a parking house in the town.

Clean modern apartment.

Pros: Very clean & modern, good facilities. Tumble dryer was a godsend after the horrendous rain we experienced on our trip (wettest day of 2024 so far)!!

Cons: The sofa bed in the living room wasn’t very comfy as a bed.

Great renovated central apartment in a nice area of Bergen.

Pros: Relatively central apartment - but on a steep hill. The GOOD - Very modern and well-appointed apartment, completely renovated with modern appliances on the top floor. Great kitchen. Fantastic bathroom. The hot water never ran out. Decent spaces, enough room all-round and very cosy. Good TV too. Great location too in Bergen, only about a 10-minute walk to the centre. A very nice apartment indeed. We really loved this apartment. In a nice area of Bergen. It was also a short walk to the University Museum (a surprise gem of a museum!) and the Maritime Museum :)

Cons: THE NOT SO GOOD - Some of the stuff the host/owners do not tell you: The outside of the apartment block/facade looks a bit like a ghetto. Unpainted and in need of renovation. It does not look inviting at all, so just be aware that this may look a bit off-putting. The stairwell has steep, curving, narrow stairs. A challenge with heavy luggage. Anyone with health/fitness/elderly issues, I would not recommend this apartment. There are also awkward steps into the complex and at the bottom of the stairwell. The last bottom step was poorly fitted and awkward. The codes on the door also played up on one of the days, which was annoying. Just be careful to always type in the right codes, because the door has a 3-minute lock if you get it wrong. Not good when you’re freezing cold outside. The street where the apartment is located is on a hill. The area is a bit hilly. It’s not bad at all, however, and no issue for us. But, in winter (we stayed in January), the streets are very icy and walking up and down this hill can be quite challenging for the uninitiated. Especially at night - when winter days are very short. I’d recommend buying some winter cleats to go over your shoes/boots. We were fine with this, but again, anyone with walking issues, please be aware. Of course, you should have no issues visiting in the summer/warmer months. I definitely would stay here again, though, as the apartment overall was great.

Pros: Wygląd jak ze zdjęć wszystko idealnie . Mieliśmy apartament C . Właściciel pozwolił wcześniej się zameldować.Łózka bardzo wygodne,wszystko nowe idealnie czyste .Łazienka nowiutka i dużo miejsca na rzeczy osobiste. 10 minut do centrum pieszo.

Pros: Lokalizacja super, wejście i zameldowanie bezproblemowe. Kontakt z właścicielem szybki i bezproblemowy, zawsze pomocny. Czysto.

Cons: Jedyny minus to czasem była temperatura, ponieważ grzejniki nawet po ustwieniu na 22 stopnie same z siebie zmniejszały temperature na 16 stopni.

Pros: Vstupne priestory do domu sa rekonstruuju .... takze ste v ocakavani ci bude realita rovnaka ako to co ste si objednali ..... Po vstupe do apartmanu budete apokojniiiii - velmi pekny, cisty apartman so super polohou - skoro v centre, blizko k doprave, obchod na dosah .... mestska plaz za rohom a krasny park bol bonus ....

Cons: Trochu celkovy dojem posramotila absencia uterakov .... a rozbite schodiky na poschodovej posteli

Molto piacevole

Pros: Appartamento molto carino ed arredato con gusto, in 15 min a piedi si arriva a Bryggen, la macchina si può lasciarla davanti a casa.

Cons: La camera matrimoniale non ha la finestra. L’ingresso del palazzo è tutto sconnesso e messo male.
