NICE

Pros: I will say this. I really liked Chotel, it has its own specific atmosphere. The hotel's glory days are long gone, but it is being gradually renovated. My children and friends felt great in this hotel and we will return to it as often as possible.

Great hotel, amazing views and only a few minor issues

Pros: Our room had amazing views and the hotel was in a perfect location for us as we were using it as a base before starting the Rondane Triangle route for 5 days. The swimming pool was nice and the food was good enough by Norwegian standards but more vegetarian choices would always be good. The check in experience was very easy with the computer terminal.

Cons: The gym was in a poor state and felt quite unnerving in the gym area. The snooker / pool table was in bad need of repair. At breakfast, they put bacon on top of the eggs which stopped vegetarians eating the eggs.

Great location and a pool to chill

Pros: It was nice that the accommodation had a pool and a sauna. The breakfast was good, different options to choose from. Good location. Great nature to hike nearby.

Cons: It was nice they had a pool and a sauna. However we thought the pool would be warmer, since it was promoted on the website, but we felt it was kinda cool temperature. We had booked two rooms for our group. We liked the one room, but the other we felt that it was not as cozy as the first one. It was also missing soap and towels, but we asked the reception about it and they were happy to help.

Pros: Everything was perfect, room was very nice, breakfast was great, the hotel is in the mountains, perfect place for hiking and walking. I can recommend. We were so satisfied.

Beautiful

Pros: Absolutely beautiful place, in the most incredible and underrated place!

Amazing views from very comfortable rooms in a great location for nature.

Pros: Really lovely room with balcony overlooking the most amazing views. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were delicious and made very pleasant with good staff. Parking was free! As was the coffee when we arrived.

Cons: The person-less check in was…impersonal, but easy if you could get it to work. Some features were of the room and hotel were not finished - but there is great potential!

Magical setting in the mountains. Excellent food and very lovely staff person doing everything!

Pros: The location of this little mountain top hotel is incredible. The main building is nice with its dining room, pool, and sauna. The one main staff person working that night seemed to be doing everything on his own, and he was incredible. Helpful, kind, very hard-working! The dinner was absolutely delicious. One of the best we have ever had. The breakfast buffet was incredible!! Playing croquet on the lawn was so fun.

Cons: The rooms we had on the second floor were stifling hot, with no A/C or fan. The beds were quite hard. So we didn’t sleep very well.

Pros: The Location is awesome. Remote Up in the hills with a Lot of comfort. A very cosy place with selfcheckin, pool and a nice breakfast

Pros: God frokost. Beliggenhet flott.Flotte fellesrom med fyr på peisen. Hyggelig personale.

Cons: Det begynner å bli slitasje på dører/ vegger. Det er mugg på silikonfuge i dusjen. Bør byttes ut. Hvis vedlikeholdet ikke starter nå, vil det forplante seg og bli dyrere. Ta tak i dette.

Pros: Flott og hjelpsomt personale. Svømmebasseng. Vi fikk låne sykler der. Vi fikk fyllt termosen med kaffe til tur. Nydelig natur. Godt brød og ok frokost.
