A peaceful, beautifully designed lodge in a magical setting

Pros: Our stay was truly wonderful. The lodge was one of the quietest and most peaceful places I have ever stayed, and it was perfect for a trip with my mum. The space was beautifully designed, and the way the houses are positioned to capture the best light and views made every day feel magical, no matter the weather. The location was very tranquil but also easy to reach, and everything was ready for us on arrival, which was very much appreciated. The lodge was spotlessly clean, the facilities were excellent, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Cons: There were only a couple of small things that could have made the stay even more seamless. Although we chose the option to clean the lodge ourselves, it would have been helpful to have clearer instructions and a few more basic items provided as standard. Essentials such as hand soap, dish soap, bin liners and a small supply of cleaning products would have saved us having to purchase these for a short stay. While all the equipment (like a hoover and mop) was available, a few extra touches like this would have been very practical.

Stunning location

Pros: Beautiful location away from the main road. We slept listening to the stream that runs past the property. There is an added bonus of being able to go on walks directly from your front door. If you want to see the glaciers, there are a few that are about 1hr 30 mins drive from here (highly recommended)

Cons: Do watch out for the bed linen charge. 200 NOK per person…. A little bit cheeky given it’s not exactly the cheapest place to stay

Pros: Very lovely, well equipped cabin with gorgeous view from the terrace. Host is very nice and helpful person.

The most amazing family adventure

Pros: Beautiful location, perfectly equipped for our family, everything provided that we needed, really helpful and responsive owners

It was amazing

Pros: It is well located with beautiful natural view. It was very comfortable and you get everything you needed.

Cons: WiFi need to be improved as you didn’t get it most of the times

Book a cabin - you’ll have no regrets!

Pros: Our whole stay here was great. The location is breath-taking while still being driving distance to amenities and attractions. The owner was very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome.

Pros: Beautiful cabin, very well equipped. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

A nice and comfortable place to stay.

Pros: We really enjoyed that it was free to use the rowing boats to go on the lake. The view from the cottage was very nice and the hiking route started from the backyard of the cottage.

Cons: We didn't manage to use to fireplace, the smoke came into the room, no matter that we used the fireplace properly. The bedrooms were a little bit stinky.

Pros: Me gustó la ubicación en una zona con muchos senderos y rutas para explorar la zona. Las vistas desde la cabaña eran excelentes y su terraza es fantástica.

Cons: Es agua salía un poco turbia pero es normal en este tipo de alojamientos en el campo.
