Perfect for a 1-3 nights stay for those who want to immerse in authentic atmosphere of old Norway.

Pros: It is like spending the night in a museum. Really interesting experience. Excellent dinner and service. We enjoyed every single bite.

Cons: Bath definitely needs some renovation. The superior room is stated to be 15 sq.m but I assume it is a bit smaller. The walls are quite thin, you can hear every word your neighbors say.

Pros: The breakfast was great. The hotel offered good quality of shampoo and soap. The bed was also very comfortable.

Pros: I liked the magnificent view on a lake, the historic building with its exquisite furniture and decoration that gives you the impression that you stepped back in time .

Cons: I did not like the very small room and the fact that the hotel is extremely overpriced for what it offers

Pros: The food at both breakfast and dinner was delicious. Exceptional service. A very intimate family run hotel with excellent facilities, whilst maintaining historical building and antique furniture making this a very unique hotel to stay in. Setting and view also beautiful.

Pros: God frokost og rolige omgivelser. 3-bla søstre hadde en fin start på dagen

Cons: Dynene var store og tunge. Men i ennkald vinterdag passer det sikkert bra

Fantastisch en zeer sfeervol hotel met fenomenaal uitzicht over de omgeving.

Pros: Fantastisch hotel op unieke locatie. Zeer gastvrij personeel. Historische inrichting maakt het zeer sfeervol. Fenomenaal uitzicht, ook vanuit hotelkamer. Uitstekende bedden. Heerlijk ontbijt met verse locale producten.

Unik «fjellskatt» med utsøkt mat og drikke, personalet som ga det lille ekstra.

Pros: Svært god og hjemmelaget mat i hyggelige omgivelser. Godt vinutvalg. Svært hyggelig betjening og unikt vertskap. Flott utgangspunkt for korte og lengre fjellturer.

Sehr erholsam wunderschön , und am Abend wurden wir mit einem tollen Menü verwöhnt.

Pros: Die Lage ist idyllisch.Die Einrichtung besteht aus vielen Antiquitäten sehr stilvoll.Man hat ein herrliche Aussicht.Das Personal war einmalig.Sehr aufmerksam freundlich.Liest einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab.

Cons: Unser Zimmer war eigentlich zu klein.Aber durch das das alles Andere so schön war haben wir das in Kauf genommen.
