Brekkestranda Fjordhotel was designed by well-known architect, Bjørn Simonnæs. Features include 1100 windows of varying shape, and a grass roof. Pros: Location is incredible, having a room with a balcony made for gorgeous wake up view. Simple clean room and lovely food in the restaurant. Easily accessible and cheap charging of EV overnight.

Cons: Pitch/tar on outside wood we weren't made aware of, made for mucky footprints before we realised.

Pros: Location & the View: Amazing location, overlooking the fjords. Bedroom were fairly spacious, the balconies had a beautiful view. The overall property was scenic, you could just walk by the water. Staff: The staff were super helpful and friendly. Value for Money: Great value for money (for the price)

Cons: Food could be better. Breakfast was basic.

Character and rustic charm right beside the water

Pros: This is a unique hotel, packed with character evident from the moment you see the turf roofs. A beautiful location right beside the fjord, set in a charming countryside location.

Fantastic place!

Pros: A fantastic place. The location is straight ot of a movie scene. The staff is very frindly and concerning. Nice and clean everywhere. Would deffinatly go again.

A great stay in a very unique hotel.

Pros: We really liked the style of this hotel, it's quite unique. It was different to anywhere else we stayed. We had a warm greeting from Janne who looked after us. A great evening meal and attentive service. Amazing location and really quiet.

Cons: No shampoo or shower gel provided so go prepared. Luckily we had our own.
