Beautiful scenery, food, and tranquil atmosphere. A stay of a lifetime!

Pros: The cabin at Tungestolen is a little slice of heaven. The views are spectacular, the ambiance is calm, relaxing and welcoming. The staff are friendly and kind. I opted for dinner which was incredible, and had a real family feel which was wonderful. Breakfast was great too! I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Cons: The check in process was maybe a little too casual. I’d have loved someone run down key things like: dinner timings (7:30 fixed), check out times, show me where things are, and explain breakfast times etc. But people were friendly and helpful when I asked. Also the showers are communal (divided by male & female) so for the British this can be jarring 🤣.

Pros: Extremely amazing location and architecture. Staff was mixed- some really nice, some quite disengaged. For a mountain hut really nice beds and shower facilities. Would def stay again.

Aussergewöhnliche Hütte in spektakulärer Bergwelt

Pros: Moderne, gemütliche DNT Hütte in einer spektakulären Umgebung mit Blick auf Gletscher und Berge. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für eine Wanderung zum Austerdalsbreen. Familiäre Atmosphäre mit sehr nettem Personal. Wichtig zu wissen: Man kann ein leckeres Dreigangmenu am Abend dazubuchen für 550 NOK, dass besser ist als das Standard Berghüttenmenu! Man kann mit dem Auto bis zur Hütte fahren, muss aber weiter unten im Tal 70 NOKMaut bezahlen (bar oder Karte)

Un lugar mágico

Pros: Tungestølen es el lugar perfecto para experimentar la belleza de Noruega. La ubicación, en medio de un valle glacial, es inigualable. El diseño de los edificios es de la mano de la firma de arquitectura más reconocida del país, y crea espacios cómodos donde sentirte como en casa mientras admiras las montañas. El personal es super amable, atento, y en seguida te hacer sentir como en familia. El desayuno incluido es un buffet espectacular con varias opciones vegetarianas.

Cons: El precio de la cena es realmente caro. En cuanto al alojamiento en general, el precio es un poco elevado, pero una vez llegas allí y ves dónde está y la calidad de los edificios y el calor humano del personal, te das cuenta de que el precio está más que justificado.

Pros: Niesamowite miejsce, ciekawa architektura, przepiękne widoki. Wspólna sypialnia podzielona na 4 półpiętra. Niesamowita kultura ludzi tam przebywających. Kawa i herbata cały dzień Należy pamiętać o własnej pościeli i ręcznikach - można je też za dopłatą dostać na miejscu.

Cons: Brak WiFi, brak informacji o konieczności opłacenia wjazdu na teren (uwaga: brama otwierana ręcznie nie należy płacić wieloktotnie - nikt inny niż ty jej nie otworzy jeśli zamknięta)
