Cozy, local stay in Trondheim
Pros: On my first night I stayed in the dorm, which I only recommend if you are a young student. However, on my other days I stayed in the private room and that was really great! The private rooms have their own kitchen area that turned out to be a great place for me to relax after a full day of activities. It felt like I had my own little apartment in Trondheim for a couple days. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. They recommended the Havet sauna 15 min walk from the hostel (a must!!). Will come back if I return to Trondheim!
Cons: Would’ve been helpful if there’s also a microwave in the private room kitchen. The air was also very dry in the room, but I think that’s a problem in every Norwegian building in winter (humidifier would perhaps solve it).

Very pleasant and modern hostel with really nice facilities and staff
Pros: Very clean and well thought out. Everything is practical from the kitchen and bedroom layout to the free tea and coffee. Very nice and helpful staff, who also knew a lot about visiting Trondheim. All-in-all a great experience.
Cons: Nothing.

Cute friendly hostel overlooking the city!
Pros: This was a lovely, clean hostel with a gorgeous view of Trondheim!! The bed was very cosy and comfortable and the bathrooms were always clean. There’s a nice big kitchen and eating area where you can cook or just have a free cup of tea and look out the window at the city. It was great value for money and I’d definitely stay here again!

For a place that I’m supposed to share living with strangers it felt like being on camp like a child.. :)
Pros: It’s clean, the snacks at the reception are good, and the staff is very nice. They also have a pool table and a projector, so feel free to bring your laptops and watch movies on the big screen. Overall, it’s great. Also the view is great and board games and kitchen and tea and coffee for free just great.

Pros: Comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen with a lot of space. Nice view in front of hostel, with good weather maybe spot for polar lights?
Cons: Quite far from train station and a bit uphill, but nothing crazy.

Really good locations and facilities
Pros: Facilities were really good , great kitchen and spacious bathrooms
Cons: Having to make up my bed at midnight - I was expected but was sorry to disturb my roommates by needing to turn on the light and make noise so late
