Fantastic house set in a stunning location

Pros: We had a lovely stay in this wonderful historic family home. The house is unique, charming and characterful with stunning views across Aurlandsfjord and is very near to Aurlandsvangen itself and only a short drive from Flåm. The house is excellently equipped and very comfortable and our host was extremely friendly and helpful. Young children will need to be supervised. We hope we have the chance to stay again, it is a superb place for a holiday break.

Fabulous place, fabulous view, fabulous chocolate cake!

Pros: the house was a traditional Norwegian building, full of charm and history. Our hosts were exceptional.

Cons: we cannot think of anything that could have been better - apart from the weather!

Great family time in this renovated historic home with the most breathtaking views of the fjord

Pros: The view from the house, how quiet and peaceful it was, the outdoor terrace and garden, the comfy beds, and how welcome we were by the owners (Anne and her family who had left gifts for us on our arrival and recommended activities for us). The house has been renovated with new kitchen and bathroom and has lots of charm and historic details.

Cons: We didn’t have a car and it’s a short walk from Aurland but along the most beautiful coastal road (and Anne drove us to the village twice to catch a bus and boat).

Pros: Wunderschöne Lage am Fjord. Absolut empfehlenswert!!! Kleines Willkommensgeschenk als nette Geste! Hauptschlafzimmer mit Spitzenblick auf den Fjord. Erwähnenswert ist, dass vom Hauptschlafzimmer ein Schlafzimmer abgeht. Dh es gibt nur 2 separate Schlafzimmer.

Pros: La villa è posizionata con una bellissima vista sul fiordo, è molto funzionale sebbene la struttura sia antica. La host Anne è stata estremamente gentile consentendoci anche di ricaricare l'auto.

Wonderful little house close to Flåm. Fjord view can’t be beat!

Pros: Great location. Comfortable beds. Modern bathroom. Shower pressure is fantastic. Beautiful views. Nice welcome gift and note. Quiet, peaceful. Would stay here again!

Pros: Kitchen and Bathroom were modern and very new. Host is very friendly and kept the home very clean. Property is in a wonderful peaceful location. It's a great consideration for younger people - steps might make it a bit challenging for older.
