Denmark 🇩🇰

A good place if you want to experience the history of Rjukan and Vemork.

Pros: The hotel seems to be from the fifties, well kept with a nice feeling, It was probably build for visiting workers, so four workers slept in what is today one hotel room. The manager was friendly, there was a good norwegian breakfast and plenty of free parking lots outside the hotel. We had a magnificent view from our room and the sound of a small running river, if we opened our window.

Decent quality for the price

Pros: Good location right next to a historic hydroelectric plant...not noisy! Only a short walk into town as you have to go to a bridge to cross the small river. Helpful staff and good breakfast choices. Plenty of parking immediately outside the property.

Cons: It was a bit noisy overnight...possibly a drunk guest?

A budget hotel which delivered good value for money, with helpful staff.

Pros: We arrived very late on the check in date and the property were very prompt and helpful in advising how we could obtain the keys after hours. The breakfast was basic but very good.

Pros: A wonderful, clean hotel with perfect customer service and attitude. It is located near the famous hydroelectric power plant in Rjukan and besides the river bank. The rooms have comfortable beds, a sofa, a refrigerator and a small table. In addition, there are tables and benches for spending time outdoors. Bufet breakfast - tasty and with enough food options. Thanks for the nice stay.

OK.

Pros: Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Gute Betten, erneuerte Armaturen und Heizung funktionieren einwandfrei, sauber. Passt sehr gut zu dem Industriedenkmal gegenüber (Kraftwerk aus dem Jahr 1915). Für Vintage-Fans vermutlich ein Erlebnis. Frühstück nicht so opulent wie in den Stadthotels in Oslo, aber OK. Parkplatz vor dem Haus inzwischen mit einem Belag versehen.

Cons: Nach meinem Geschmack etwas zu Vintage. Weil kein Restaurant in der Nähe, wäre ein Wasserkocher schon von Vorteil. Konnten aber einen solchen im nahegelegenen Supermarkt besorgen.
