Holiday cabins with unmatched lake view in Jølster

Our stay was very nice.

Pros: We like this space very much. The house is very clean and comfortable with a very beautiful view to the lake. You can find everything in this house, there are all necessary utensils, bed linen and towels are included in the price. You can just come to this house and don’t think about anything. Despite the fact that the house is not far from the road, it’s not noisy at all, there are not a lot of traffic. And when we came, there was a very beautiful Christmas tree, that put us in a cheerful mood.

Cons: Everything is perfect.

Great one night stop over by a gorgeous lake.

Pros: Lovely location. Great property by the lake which we could have enjoyed a lot more but we were only a one night stay. Scenery was magical. The host was very responsive to questions.

Cons: We had made our booking in late 2024 and didn’t realize we had to pay extra for bed linen. They’ve updated their terms now to include it. Stripping beds in the morning is not an unusual request by a host but we didn’t expect to have to make our own beds upon arrival.

Will recommend it to friends and family

Pros: We had a wonderful time at Knut’s cottage. He also made the effort to set up a Xmas tree for us. House is warm and cosy, has a very well equipped kitchen, exactly what we needed for preparing our Xmas lunch.

Very cozy, very Norway

Pros: We came for the view, and we got the view! The cabin is new, very well equipped and very cozy. We stayed for 3 nights and even though it rained the whole time, we very much enjoyed the stay. The owners are very nice and helpful. The fireplace was very well needed to give the cabin it’s cozy feel. It is a good place to spend a couple of days away from the busy schedule of seeing beautiful Norway ❤️

Cons: It’s not so much that we did not like (because we knew beforehand), but the cabin is located next to a road and you can sometimes hear some car noise. But it is definitely not a deal breaker!

Perfect!

Pros: De toegangkelijkheid naar de accommodatie, schoon, goede uitrusting en toen wij na een dag reizen vanaf luchthaven Bergen binnen kwamen stond de houtkachel te branden. Wat een geweldige service👍👍

Cons: Ligt direct verdiept aan de doorgaande weg met autoverkeer maar is zeker niet storend te noemen.

Schoon huis met veel ruimte in een prachtige omgeving

Pros: Prachtig uitzicht, huis was netjes, communicatie ging goed.

Pros: Widok na jezioro Parking przy domku Wygodna kanapa

Cons: Przy tej cenie za noc powinno być że 20kWh dziennie w cenie.

Bekväm stuga med fantastisk utsikt!

Pros: Fantastisk utsikt och läge precis vid stranden. Modern, fin och rymlig stuga med välutrustat kök och braskamin.

Cons: Trafiken precis inpå knuten, men det visste vi om innan. Lite för lite med en toalett på 6 personer när man ska iväg på morgonen. Vi hade även svårt att få upp värmen i värmegolven. Oklart från Bookings sida att elen inte ingick i priset.

Pros: The location is so pretty, the house and view too!

Sehr angenehmer Urlaub in einer sehr wohnlichen Hütte in wirklich guter Lage!

Pros: Super Lage, super nette Hütte und auch freundliche Gastgeber

Cons: Aufzahlung für Bettwäsche und Handtücher, erzeugt einen unguten Beigeschmack, da man neben der Miete noch zusätzlich einen hohen Betrag zahlen muss. ( und ich zb. Bettwäsche noch nie in eine derartige Unterkunft mitbringen hab müssen…)
