Traditional timber farm with Sauna & Wi-Fi

Excellent property in a great location.

Pros: Easy check-in with keys in a lock box and clear instructions. Excellent place to stay, well equipped, clean and great location.

Cons: Wi-Fi was variable with poor signal at times. But a minor inconvenience.

Pros: Such a nice place! So cozy. The host was fast to answer any questions. Would go back any time!

Cons: Only thing is that I stayed there to go skiing so it’s a 15 minutes drive to the start of the track. But really not a big deal when staying at this nice place!

Great place to unwind with a glass of something.

Pros: It was neat and had amazing vistas over the valley in the morning the clouds shrouded the village and cliffs in a comforting cloud blanket. The property was easily accessed from the main road and they had few steps to enter .

Pros: Loved everything about this place! The host who met us was engaging and charming, clearly passionate about his family home. The property was amazingly kitted out, even had its own cocktail glasses. We had the sauna to ourselves. There was a table tennis table in the milking parlour which was good fun. Great views over the river. We all had our own double beds. Living room & dining room were a good size. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it.

Cons: Nothing - if you didn't have internet for online maps it's not in an obvious signed location, but we recognised the main building easily from the photo so no problem for us.

Big cozy place for a authetic stay

Cons: The only suggestion I would have is that there is a mention upfront about the sauna being an additional cost.

A stay on the farm

Pros: The property combines a rustic atmosphere with highly functional living elements, from the kitchen to the bathroom. If you are a fan of efficient small spaces, this is a great choice for you. At the same time, it captures the atmosphere of living on a farm, with its decorations and wood burning stove. Host was fantastic, very quick to communicate.

Comfortable, clean, beautiful property - can’t recommend enough.

Pros: This property is exceptional. Beautifully furnished with modern kitchen. The views are beautiful. I stayed with my husband and two teenage boys and we loved the bunk beds. We only stayed for 2 nights so that we could do white water rafting at Sjoa - but we wish we had stayed longer! Ole the owner is so friendly and available for any queries - he actually made the stay even better.

Cons: Loved it all…

Pros: We love the traditional look of the cabin with the updated features (new modern kitchen, big tv). We also loved the bedroom with the four bunk beds all together. Amazing views!

Cons: It was a beautiful day and we wanted our windows open. However, the people staying in a nearby cabin were smoking outside so we had to keep our windows closed.
