Villa Holmen 2

Pros: Had a wonderful stay here in Balestrand. The place has everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Kitchen was well-equipped and it had lots of rooms. We were glad there was a washing machine and dryer too. The bathroom floors were heated. The best thing about the place is the view from the lounge room. The views of the mountains were amazing. Host was responsive and helpful too. Loved it.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The villa is located 50 metres away from the Ferry station. Extremely convenient, spacious and clean house.

I love Villa Holmen 2, make me feel homely.

Pros: The host has made this apartment warm, cosy and more importantly homely. An excellent apartment to having bonding with your loved ones away from home. The host has also put in their effort to provide us with most of the condiments which we need for our cookings. Well done!

Pros: Lovely house which was nicely appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Information received from the owner was quick and thorough which made check in very easy. Very well located in Balestrand, easy to walk to shops etc. Perfect for our family of 5

Pros: This house was beautifully presented. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. We were a group of 6 friends (3 couples) travelling through the fjord by ferry. We appreciated the fact that the we could easily walk to and from the wharf and other points of interest in the town. It was a memorable stay.

Great stay in Balestrand

Pros: Excellent residence, close to supermarket, close to the port, very quiet area and magnificent views from the living room's extra large windows (see attached photos). Had everything needed to please everyone (we are a family of 4, our children are 16 and 21) from the kitchen to perfect WiFi and tv, with very comfy chairs. Everything kept in a very clean state. Great variety of walking trails nearby. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Pros: We loved the location of this property. It was absolutely perfect. It was so easy to get to the waterfront, to all the restaurants, to the beach, etc. I would highly recommend staying in this place again. Looking out the large picture window at the mountain was Just awesome.

Cons: The only small Hitch in the whole experience was getting into the property. We went to the wrong door at first, because it was not super clear which door to go to. We even encountered other travelers who were going to the other part of the property, and they were confused too. I believe they were both named the exact same thing. I would suggest naming the two different parts of the property something completely different so there's no confusion. otherwise we had A great time.

Pros: I don’t normally leave reviews, but we absolutely loved our stay so we had to! The place is in perfect location, has one of the most amazing views I’ve seen and is very spacious. The owner was very quick to reply, and very accommodating. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated so the current photos don’t do it justice! We were very warm and comfortable and it was nice to catch up on some washing. Highly recommend staying here!

Family friendly large house close to everything in Balestrand

Pros: Great location, large house, 3 bedrooms, modern and well equipped kitchen

Cons: Furniture and decor are a bit dated in some parts of the house
