A nice stay in the centre of Røros

Pros: The location in the middle of Røros is perfect. The room was quiet. The breakfast was very good. It is possible to eat a light meal at Berkel & Bar.

Cons: The staff was a bit reserved.

Pros: very nice and spacious room and the combination to use the Spa at Hotel Roros is great (same owner). Staff very flexible and served breakfast while we arrived well beyond the ending time for serving breakfast

Simply the Best!

Pros: Absolutely top class. I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and in the town of Roros. It is unique, never have. I stayed somewhere so historic but was the modern facilities. Definitely recommend this as a must place to visit. There was so much history and the historic buildings. Just wow factor the staff at the hotel also made the stay so memorable. It's one of those moments in time. You won't forget

Cons: There was nothing I didn't like. It was brilliant. In fact I was very sad to leave.

Pros: Great location in a historic building in the heart of Roros. Wonderful breakfast, and we had a lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant one night.

Cons: The facilities, while clean and practical for our purposes, were very basic. We expected that, given the advertising, so there were no surprises. The whole town tends to be on the expensive side.

Too short a stay in Røros

Pros: Røros is a village of character and this hotel compliments the village with its informal layout and repurposing of its buildings the hotel was exceptional. We ate in the restaurant from a fine menu and needless to say the meals were first class. Last but not least were the staff who could not have been more helpful. Superb

Pros: Rooms are located in authentic old wooden buildings in the historic centre of Roros. Very comfortable one-night stay, good breakfast. Easy access to railway station, mining museum and town walking tour.

Cons: Experienced slight drama re storing our bags as we were there on a Sunday and office closed at 1pm. When we couldn't get luggage storage at the station, the hotel eventually offered us a solution.

A wonderful experience

Pros: This hotel is located in a very special town. It has a unique charm because of the location and decor. However, for us what made our stay so special was how helpful the staff were. We had a problem with our luggage and they ensured that it was sorted with no fuss.
