Amazing family stay near Lonevåg, Osterøy
Pros: Perfectly situated on Osterøy for exploring the western fjords, roughly 40 minutes from Central Bergen for shopping and sightseeing. A lovely welcoming host family who left us a gift of fresh eggs from their chickens and much needed coffee! The working farm has goats and sheep and horses so lots to see for younger children and adults alike. Lonevåg is not far away and has a takeaway and shops for convenience. House has everything you’d need for a comfortable stay, plenty of room and beds plus a well equipped kitchen. Lovely decking area outside to sit in nice weather as well as chairs outside the front to admire the views. We went on a hike to Kossdalssvigane, views were amazing and on to Hosanger afterwards for Pizza and Icecream in a little cafe by the waterfront dock area which we would definitely recommend. If we are lucky to come back to the area we will definitely stay again!
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect. We were fortunate that the weather was nice and hot for a few days however there is underfloor heating which we turned down when it got too hot so it was easy to manage.

Comfortable and cozy house on beautiful norwegian island - great host and place to stay (;
Pros: House was very clean, well maintained and bright - huge windows facing peaceful surroudings (hills, valley, sheeps, auroras). Kitchen very well equipped, comfortable beds and lots of space to live and spend time comfortably. Great place to stay - Bergen 40 minutes away and Osterøy island itself is worth exploring (host provides maps and brochures about local attractions). Highly recomennded!
Cons: Very small bathroom, sometimes you can smell local cows/sheeps.

Pros: We enjoyed a wonderful holiday here. The location was perfect - absolutely beautiful rural surroundings, yet still within driving distance from Bergen airport. The accommodation was much more spacious than we were expecting too. The owners are really friendly and we had everything we needed.

Loved it!
Pros: Friendly welcome (chocolate, coffee, fresh eggs from the farm)! The house is super child friendly. A big playroom for the kids (small kitchen, swing, pencils, stuffed animals etc). The kitchen is complete with all necessary supplies. The shower is fine. Kids can sleep while parents enjoy time downstairs (not so noisy). Animals on the farm and so many more toys (tractors, bikes, sand etc). The family is very nice and helpful. The hikes on the island are great (2/3 hour hikes with kids in carrier with great views as a result). Thank you!
Cons: The pictures. It just doesn't do justice to the great place you have! :)

Pros: Ci è piaciuto tutto! Questo è il paradiso… La nostra casa era stupenda, così accogliente e pulita con tutti i comfort sia per noi adulti che per i nostri bambini. C’è la lavastoviglie, la lavatrice, l’aspirapolvere. Tanti giochi a disposizione per i bambini. La fattoria è una meraviglia, immersa in una natura che ti dona una pace incredibile. Abbiamo amato follemente le caprette, i cavalli, le galline, il poter vivere la nostra vacanza in lentezza. I miei bambini sono stati felicissimi di passare una settimana lì, non volevamo più andar via. Speriamo un giorno di poter tornare a trascorrere una vacanza in questo luogo meraviglioso. Non lo dimenticheremo mai.
Cons: Mi è piaciuto tutto, tutto è perfetto. Se ci fosse l’asciugatrice ed un secondo bagno un po’ più grande, questa meravigliosa casa sarebbe perfetta anche per soggiorni di più settimane.
