Pros: The rooms are in a house behind the restaurant, so it's a little quieter as it's not directly on the road. It's not a noisy road though. There are 3 rooms in the house that share a bathroom with shower, and another bathroom with shower downstairs. Plenty of space, with a well equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge, and outside eating area (if the weather permits!) Fabulous breakfast included, which it left in the fridge for each room the night before.

Perfect stop on our Norwegian dream holiday

Pros: The lady welcoming us was super friendly. The house was amazing and remindes like going to grandparents’ house. So cozy, clean and comfortable. Very nice breakfast. Best bed to sleep in!

Pros: Good place to stay while traveling towards Trollstingen

Like a Norwegian

Pros: A local housing with 3 rooms upstairs, only two bath, but very cosy. Breakfast in main room, every room has a tray in the fridge with a lot of things. Very 👍

Pros: I was fully satisfied with my stay for one night here. Helpful and friendly staff, room was comfortable with clean facilities, very quiet. Parking lot had plenty of space. Tasty and well-served breakfast. Nice views outside, a restaurant just nearby. Living room has a piece of a real history. Great place to stay! Thank you!

Cons: Just put a floor wiper to clean away the water after taking a shower in the bathroom downstairs. The rest about this old house is perfect!

Excellent stay in cosy cabin

Pros: A clean and beautifully furnished cabin that felt like home, with a living room, kitchen and washing machine included. Delicious breakfast provided in the fridge. Lovely staff that accommodated my late check-in timing around 9pm. Location was also great, along the road to Trollstigen. Overall an excellent stay.

Pros: Very nice house with authentic interior, furniture, books located in a lovely place. We had the entire house for us, although we booked only 2 out of 3 rooms. The third room was not occupied. Very generous breakfast was prepared and left in the fridge in advance. Lovely staff. Very positive and interesting experience in a traditional Norwegian house.

Cons: It would be nice to have a dryer in addition to the washing machine.

Pros: Just a beautiful house. We were placed in the house behind the restaurant. It is like living in your own home. The restaurant manager , a Brazilian lady, was just chirpy and accommodating. The place is about 6kms from Valdall town enroute to trollstigen. Should try the sponge cake with strawberry sauce….not sweet!!!!

Brilliant comfortable stay

Pros: The house was so well appointed. 3 double rooms within a house/home. 2 bathrooms, living area with TV, comfortable outdoor deck, dinning room table and well kitted out kitchen. Breakfast was so beautifully set out and placed in fridge the night before.

Wonderful place

Pros: Beautiful surroundings... you can walk in the forest. Impressive breakfast... strawberries is the name of the place :). Nice old house... some pieces of real history inside. Very clean. On the main road but quiet as well. Large restaurant at the location. A place where you could relax and forget about anything...
