Trysilfjell Apartment Hotel

Great location and easy access, comfortable and relaxed.

Pros: Location! Close to lifts, slopes and ski school. Easy to get in and out for lunch and pauses. Common room for games and to get away. Ski locker and entry easy without having to use access card. Parking close by.

Cons: Kitchen could use update but worked fine. Dining chairs were old and uncomfortable. Heavy, and we could hear other apartments moving Theis chairs around. Construction noise started early. More info about facilities and trash procedure.

Pros: The location was excellent. Close to ski rental shops and restaurants. The staff were very responsive and helpful. Apartment had everything we needed. Very new bathroom with a great shower. Drying machine also a bonus.

Cons: Apartment was quite small and a bit tired. Decor was tidy but furniture was a bit worn. Holes in seats, broken drawers etc. Not a huge amount of space for storage of suitcases etc. There are building works opposite the entrance during the week. We were made well aware of these in advance, but they were due to start at 0830 but frequently started around 0700. Not a huge issue but it was a bit noisy. Apparently due to be completed in mid April 2026.

Firstplace to check for accommodation at Trysil

Pros: Perfect place to stay when visiting Trysil in winter for a couple or family. Absolutely ski-in and -out and one minute's walk to a major chair. Easy walk to the long distance bus and local supermarket, and with a decent;y equipped kitchen. Comfortable and perfectly located.

Pros: Super location, free sauna available, additional facilities like cinema and kids play rooms

Great value for the money and perfect location.

Pros: Fantastic location right by the lift, for half the price of most neighbouring hotels and apartments. Little apartment but with everything one might need and smart planning that make it feel much more spacious than it actually is (like bunk beds for the children rather than a sofa bed as in many other places). It also has a room for bicycles (and skies in winter) and parking right by the entrance (although a paid one).

Cons: The kitchen stove was old and there were no mittens for the oven. Some dust under the beds. Despite having paid for late check out the cleaning staff tried to get in three hours before they were supposed to and they deactivated our keys. Minor inconveniences that would not prevent us to stay there again.

Great location

Pros: The location was great. We had a ground-floor apartment with direct access to the bike park. It was a quiet place. The apartment was very well equipped and the kitchen had everything we needed. The reception staff were also very friendly. We were a little surprised that one of the bedrooms had no windows, meaning we had to sleep with the door open. The second bedroom was very small, but overall, the price-performance ratio was decent.

Pros: Amazing location!!! The flat had everything... dish washer with tablets, coffee machine with filters, towels, clothes dryer 😋 super comfy beds and very warm appartment!! One of the best appartments we have ever been to! 100% recommended

Cons: Parking extortionate considering that you paid a lot for apartments. We had 4 cars in our party....£280 for a week. Free car park 10 min walk away but very icy paths around resort. Had to pay £3.50 for 1 extra pillow....shocking !
