Great base for XC ski week!

Pros: We wanted a base which allowed for self-catering while having the facilities of a hotel. This was perfect for that, with a great studio / kitchenette set up and good access to ski slopes with the SkiBus. If you know this area already, it’s perfect. We would have appreciated a bit more staff presence / help about renting skis and where to get started, but generally a good experience. Definitely can’t fault the facilities which were great.

Cons: Would have liked better informed and available staff for advice for newcomers like us, but this is a minor point and didn’t detract from our stay !

Pros: The breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary. Location is very good for Biathlon competitions a possible walking distance from the venue.

Cons: THe room was not properly cleaned so we had to get them to clean the floor. We arrived early though, but they said it should be ready. Having said that it wwas no problem to get them to clean it, so it was all set at the original check-in time.

Pros: Very nice apartment, beautiful updated with the kitchen and bathroom. Comptable beds. Nice heated pool. Good view.

Nice place to stay for a few days in Geilo.

Pros: The pool, soft play, pool table etc. Kept our daughter and teenage relative entertained. It was a nice walk from the centre of Geilo.

Cons: Limited food choices in the resturant. Bed was a bit annoying as two separate mattresses which kept slipping off the base. Lack of clarity about room facilities (what to do with rubbish, towels for swimming,, random stuff in boxes in kitchen area)
