Overall this accommodation exceeded our expectation.

Pros: My partner and I loved our time in this resort. Having skied many places before the size of rooms here are much larger than typical European resorts, and for a much better price. There is plenty of ski storage on site. The ski shuttle bus collects from right outrider the hotel/resort and runs every 15 minutes so it’s easy to get to the slopes. Thr room was large, very clean a beds comfy.

Pros: It was a wonderful place. In a quiet area, felt peaceful. We prefer this than the busy vestlia hotel. The space was perfect with a great bus service to the vestlia. Although the bus can get very busy and frustrating.

Cons: Not providing washing up liquid or cleaning products. Condiments. We had to buy them for only a week and left the majority of products.

Very enjoyable

Pros: Quality of accommodation and facilities Staff in restaurant and reception, and the courtesy and efficiency of the maintenance man and the electrician.

Pros: Very nice apartment style rooms with great views, bus stop right outside, underground parking and warm ski storage room!!

A wonderful, quiet and relaxing stay with beautiful, stunning views over the valley.

Pros: Friendly staff, always available when needed. Extremely beautiful views from the room and restaurant. A good traditional Finnish sauna and pool. A room with everything one needs for cooking etc. Close to the city center, with an easy to follow, straight path into town where the train station and shops is located. Also buses going from the bus stop, right outside the building.

Cons: It was two separate beds and not one double bed in the room — but this was probably my own fault that I didn’t ask for a double bed in advance. Besides that, everything was very good.

Good stay with a nice view

Pros: The stay was overall good. The kitchen was well-equipped with all cooking utensils, and the balcony view was really nice. Geilo is also a beautiful stop for one night between Oslo and Voss.

Cons: I had to pay extra for towels and bed sheets, and the building key pick-up point was far from the apartment — you need a taxi if you don’t have a car. Unfortunately, I forgot my rings and called just 10 minutes after checkout. They promised to keep them until I returned in 5 days, but when I came back, they acted like it was the first time they heard about it, and I never got my rings back.

Pros: The apartment was spacious and very clean. Good facilities if you wish to cook We only stayed 1 night en route to travelling to Oslo.

Cons: The comfort of the beds was poor. Pillows were terrible. We didn't like the additional charge for bedding and towels. For the cost of 1 night, this should be included.

We loved our stay - we only booked for two nights, but would come back for longer next time.

Pros: Wonderful views over Geilo. Easy walk from the train station. Friendly and helpful staff.

Short stay in Geilo

Pros: Nice apartment but only 1 bedroom unlocked, small twin beds, big living, good shared balcony, underground free parking

Cons: Small twin beds and the bedroom very small

The place was great - we would have love to stay longer!

Pros: Our train was late, but the fact that the reception is open for check-in till late was wonderful. To clarify, Section 2, bonus question: not because of the place, but coming from South Africa, highly unlikely that we will be able to visit Geilo again.

Cons: Maybe the towel brackets in the bathroom can be looked at? It looks beautiful, but too small, so the towel keeps on falling off.
