Nedre Stølen Apartment Bergen

Owners were sweet and easily accessed, WiFi fast, darling apartment! They even had an umbrella for guest use!

Pros: Totally as advertised! Clean, cute little apartment in amazing central location!

Pros: The location was perfect. The apartment had everything we needed and more. It was very clean, lovely and warm. The hosts were very quick to reply to messages.

Cons: One tiny wish…that the curtains were thicker.

Cozy stay in a characteristic area

Pros: Super cozy apartment in a very characteristic area. Nothing was missing (kitchenware, bathroom accessories...). Close to a supermarket. Close to the center.

Cons: Bathroom not perfectly suitable if you have a baby (missing shower box, small sink). Almost impossible to get rid of humidity, and to dry towels and wet clothes in turn. Room for improvement on cleaning of \

Loved the character neighbourhood and the bright kitchen/living room with oodles of storage space.

Pros: We loved the old neighbourhood. Discovered the Extra grocery store less than five minutes away. Easy to communicate with friendly hosts; they created flexibility when we needed help with check-in. Kitchen well supplied. A lot of storage space!

Cons: We wound up sleeping in two places, one on the bed and one on the couch. The bed is under a low-hanging stairwell to the second floor. The person sleeping on the inside doesn't really have room to turn over or ready access to the washroom at night. I would want to reread the description but suggest describing this as a place that is ideal for one person. Would appreciate a heavier curtain on the windows as people are walking directly outside the apartment. Would be great to add one more folding chair for eating at the table. If possible in the future, would be great to create a small shower stall. In the current design, the bathroom floor gets quite wet. Used one of our shower towels to soak up the water.

Probably a (nearly) perfect choice for visiting Bergen!

Pros: In general, we felt very comfortable in the apartment and were satisfied with nearly everything. What we liked most: + The apartment is well located, right in the city center of Bergen, which makes it easy to explore Bergen. (Two Supermarkets and some restaurants are just around the corner. The 'Fløibanen' is 500 m away. The 'Fish Market' is 650 m away. &.) + Easy Check-in and friendly hosts. + The apartment is well equipped - especially the kitchen, also with coffee. + Even though the bed is somehow 'special', it is still comfy and cozy.

Cons: There is only one thing to consider here: - Having a shower w/o 'flooding' the bathroom is somehow challenging, since the shower just consists of a shower head and a shower curtain. (Using an additional towel on the floor fixes this 'issue' mostly.)

Pros: The flat is really well located and nicely decorated. Bed really comfy also.

Cons: The shower being next to toilet is not really convenient and the water is wetting the bathroom floor surface...

Pros: perfect location, close to centre of bergen - very pretty residential area

Cons: no complaints at all :-) just a few suggestions of improvement: *) both entrance and bathroom door are very difficult to close and especially the bathroom door squeaks *) a shoe mat, e.g. BAGGMUCK from IKEA, would be very helpful during the winter months to keep the aparment clean

Pros: Carefully planned apartment to fit everything into a modest space! Very comfortable, quiet and a great location.
