We enjoyed our stay in the apartment and had a wonderful time touring the city.

Pros: The location of the apartment was great, walking distance from all the city center. Clean apartment and well equipped with all the necessary items. We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Wonderful hosts, very responsive and kind.

Pros: We stayed in this spacious and comfortable apartment and really enjoyed its layout. The beds were very good, the large bathroom was spotless, and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need to survive (and more!). The location is also great, within easy reach of the city center.

Cons: However, since we were in the basement apartment, we experienced an issue with the fire alarm system. If someone forgot to close the stairwell door, the alarm would start beeping loudly right next to one of the bedroom walls. Over two nights we had to get up five times to close the door in order to sleep. It was extremely loud and disturbing. A basement apartment needs to be well ventilated. This is not so easy, but it is necessary.

Lovely apartment in great location

Pros: We stayed in apartment 4 for 5 nights. Excellent location, close to the city centre (just a few mins walk). Helpful owners. Very comfortable apartment which was a lovely base for exploring the city. Very clean and well looked after. Washing machine, dishwasher, good shower, microwave and oven, soap, even some baking paper provided. Fabulous place.

Cons: The only negative for us was the noise at night (from outside). There's a student bar in the building opposite which has a beer garden. We hadn't realised this. As we visited during a heatwave, the beer garden was full of singing drinkers until 2am. I imagine this wouldn't be an issue in colder/wetter weather, but it meant we got very little sleep, as not long after the partying stopped, the seagulls started shrieking (4am).

An amazing apartment in a lovely area of town. Great base from which to explore Bergen.

Pros: Apartment was clean and equipped. Easy walk into town. Cafe Blom just round the corner is well worth a visit.

Bergen is a beautiful place and we enjoyed our stay a lot despite the noisy seagulls !

Pros: Convenient location in a very pleasant, quiet area of Bergen. Well equipped, clean and modern loft apartment with everything we needed. We walked there from the railway station in 10 minutes. There were shops and bakeries near by too.

Cons: 1. The shower screen in one of the shower rooms didn’t completely enclose the shower which meant that shower water splashed across the floor. 2. It is not the fault of the property but there were some very noisy seagulls outside who squawked & chattered all night long and disturbed our sleep. We could hear them all too well since the roof windows had to be kept slightly open due to the warm outside temperature at night. 3. Our fault perhaps but we had not realised that the ceilings would slope down into the rooms so much - we had to be very careful not to bang our heads.

We were very happy with accommodation!

Pros: Loved the location, very bright and cheerful. Spacious living area.

Cons: Needed a toaster. Noisy at night. Fans would be nice.

Comfortable apartment in a convenient location

Pros: Spacious comfortable property, good location. Nicely furnished.

Cons: It was too hot at night even though we turned the thermostats down. The gulls were too noisy to have the windows open!

Pros: Perfect location in the university area, close to city center. Clean, great beds and spacious.

Pros: The property was in a quiet location a short walk from the centre. The property was clean and had the essentials to make our long weekend comfortable. Communication with the hosts was excellent, they responded quickly to any queries we had.

Pros: Beautiful furnished apartment, in a great location in Bergen. It was possible to walk most places. The beds were very comfortable, check-in details were clear and hosts responded fast to questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Black out blinds are needed!
