Høyden Apartments

Pros: It's near shops and restaurants. The area is clean and pleasant. Easy access into the apartment with the codes given. Instructions are very clear. Hosts are very accommodating, changing our apartment to ground floor. They r very fast in responding to our enquiries. A lot of cups and plates. Clean and comfortable apartment especially the living room.

Cons: We wished there was a microwave which would have been very helpful. There were not enough cutlery. Only 2 spoons in the dishwasher. The 2nd room was a bit cramped and not suitable for senior citizens as we had to climb in and out of beds from the end of the beds.

Nice comfortable place 15 minutes walk from the harbour

Pros: Well furnished and fitted out basement apartment. The place had everything we needed. Comfortable beds and a good bathroom and shower. Quiet residential street.

Cons: Works we’re going on in the courtyard the apartment looked out on. Needs bedside lights and charging points mounted on the walls as no room for bedside tables in the narrow bedrooms.

Nice flat with two double rooms and a kitchen.

Pros: Great arrangement for 2-4 people with two double rooms and a kitchen/leisure area.

Cons: There is missing a table inside if you plan to cook and eat. Shower gel would have been nice. Beds were very soft, in case you don’t like it.

Pros: Very nice apartment with new furniture, spacious and bright. The host was helpful and brought a child chair and a crib after we asked on WhatsApp.

Cons: A couple of pans more would have been helpful for preparing some meals. You have to make the beds when you arrive.

Great location

Pros: Very well located and really lovely inside Well stocked with essentials. View from balcony to the mountains in the sunshine is stunning

Pros: Central location close to all the major attractions

Cons: Very steep stairs up to the apartment, the first set with no handrails. Blackout blind in one of the bedrooms was broken.

Nice tidy clean apartment - Perfect location just 5 mins from town.

Pros: The location was good, just a short walk down-hill to the harbour and fish market. The lounge/kitchen area although small was clean and comfortable - the shower was good too. Useful also to have a washing machine.

Cons: Both bedrooms were very small with no room for a beside table. The courtyard area outside the lounge needs cleaning up and could be made more attractive with wall flowers and or pot plants for example.

Pros: Great location. Lovely apartment. Enjoyed the outdoor deck.

Cons: No problem to us, but as mentioned in the description there is steep stairs to access the apartment. Not a fault of the place but be aware.

Pros: Very convenient location which we loved, close to the sights and train station. Little supermarket round the corner was handy. We stayed in the loft apartment which had an amazing view but had to be careful not to bump our heads on the sloping ceilings. There was also 2 flights of stairs to the apartment which is not ideal if you had big luggage!

Comfortable, centrally located self-catering apartment

Pros: Excellent location in central Bergen. Was easy to find even in the dark. Very responsive hosts - they came down to look at a broken oven even though we said it was not necessary. 6 minutes' drive from main attractions, like the Fish Market.
