Well-appointed, homely, clean and warm apartment in a great location.

Pros: Very nice apartment! It was a relaxing place to be during our stay in Alesund - the apartment seems to be newly renovated, and was very well set-up with everything we needed, including the kitchen/cooking facilities. The location is excellent - only a very short walk to the town center and hill with the wonderful viewpoint. It is on the ground floor (street-level, with frosted glass in the front windows) but nevertheless it is very quiet and bright. We got a parking space on the street opposite the front door & our host arranged the parking permit for us (through our chats in booking.com).

Perfect stay in a very central, but quiet location.

Pros: Central location, free car parking , large area to unpack clothes. The apartment was very clean and mostly modernised, The host was very helpful and quick to respond to any entities sent.

Cons: Not much to concern us. The shower could possibly do with an update, but this would not stop us returning or recommending the property.

There's NO better place to stay in Alesund - book now before you lose this place!!

Pros: Location was ideal - quick walk to all the shops and restaurants just west of us. Located very close to the Fjellstua viewpoint - an easy drive (or 418 step walk up the hill - my choice) to see a 360 view of the city. Owners were lighting-fast with their responses. Stayed with my wife and our teenage son. Beds were ready upon our arrival - towels and washcloths, along with a welcome chocolate heart. Board games were great fun. Nespresso coffee maker with some pods were quite nice. I cannot imagine a better place to stay in all of Alesund.

Cons: Parking could have been a real bear - we got pretty lucky both days with a reasonably close spot. Be sure to give the owners your tag # and they'll get your vehicle registered for Zone-4.
