Villa Haudalan Åndalsnes

Wonderful little cottage. Perfect location. Amazing mountain walk

Pros: Very close to the train station and town centre and the base of the mountain. Excellent views. Quaint Scandinavian style wooden cottage. Would definitely recommend it.

Cons: The bedrooms were slightly cold at times in comparison to the lounge which was lovely and warm.

Pros: Perfect little house in a great location at the base of Romsdalsgondolen. Only stayed 1 night, but would have loved to stay longer!

Beautiful, cozy and well equipped

Pros: This was our favourite accommodation from all of Scandinavia! The little house is equipped with everything you would need for a short stay and it has such nice views too! Sleep was very comfortable with no noise or other disturbances. So worth it for value and can highly recommend! One thing to note though, the path up to the house is gravel so since we walked from the station it was a bit of a struggle to get our luggages up as we had to carry them and rolling wasn’t possible. If you travel by car, then it would be amazing since there’s free parking at the property.

Nice house, quiet location on the outskirts of Åndalsnes

Pros: The common spaces (kitchen, dining area, sitting area) are spacious and well set up. The location is good: on the outskirts of Åndalsnes, which feels quiet, but Åndalsnes is small so it's only a few hundred metres to downtown and even closer to the station.

Location is in end of Trollstigen route, also convenient for visiting Atlanterhavsvegen route

Pros: Comfort and cozy. Located near harbor and gondola station, view at balcony is amazing. Air condition in living room is a bless in summer time. EV charging at reasonable price is also a plus.

Cons: nothing unlike.

Exceptional

Pros: The house is spacious and light with a very large living/dining area with comfortable sofas. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is large and well-equipped. The terrace is a lovely place to sit out and enjoy the view. The location is excellent - set apart from other houses in an elevation position with a view across the water to the mountains. There are several restaurants within easy walking distance. The owner is proactive, responsive and helpful.

Cons: Not easy to find, as no street number nor name displayed anywhere Drive gravel and steep, so not easy to pull luggage up

Surprisingly modern and very comfortable

Pros: This property is a free-standing house that has been completely modernised inside, and was very comfortable for 4 people. The photos don't do the inside of the property justice. We found it very comfortable, the host very friendly when we met him briefly, and the location convenient to the bus/train station. Wish we could have stayed longer as the area around Andalsnes is beautiful.

Pros: Very private, spotless clean, modern, spacious house. It was a great stop for us.

Cons: Nothing.
