Flatheim Glamping

Unforgettable experience in stunning nature. Probably the highlight of our 8 days road trip through Norway.

Pros: Beautiful setting overlooking the river. Our boys had their first fishing experience with the support of the host. That was fantastic. Loved canoeing on the nearby fairly big lake with big waterfalls in the distance. We were the only one on the lake. Great dinner. Very welcoming hosts. Tents are super comfortable with great beds. We also got the indoor fireplace for our s’mores. So, simply a stunning stop on our family road trip through Norway. I wish would have stayed 2 nights. Unforgettable!

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay in the tent of Flatheim, comfortable bed and warm bed. The diner was delicious and it was served in the beautiful Heritage traditional House. The breakfast was very good with fresh eggs from the farm. The owner told us about the interesting history of his family Heritage house. We recommend the Flatheim Glamping.

Unique stay in a beautiful tent

Pros: Beautiful place! Honestly the entire Glamping is so cute and cozy, everything is delicate in terms of decoration and it feels like a little cocon of paradise. We had booked a tent which was super well prepared, extremely clean and cozy, with a very comfy bed! The bathroom was shared with another tent - very clean and equipped, modern. We also had access to a house with a big kitchen and dining room we could use, as well as the coffee house. Honestly, we loved our time there. Despite the fact that the weather was cold and rainy, we really were super well welcomed and given a lot of covers in the tent to be warm. The staff was super nice and accessible, and really took care of us.

Pros: Everything was excellent. The owners are great and really make your stay worthwhile. It is a fantastic location with beautiful nature around. The tent looked great to stay in, but due to the weather conditions, we were offered to stay in a room. We will for sure come back to try the glamping next time.

Pros: We had booked the tent/yurt to sleep outside, however the rain had been terrible for days and was still raining when we arrived. The owner said there was a room in the main house availbale. I'm so glad we did. I have never slept in a more comfortable bed. The road is lined with waterfalls and hiking trails. Its a beautiful spot.

Cons: I wish we stayed longer.

Pros: Locazione fantastica! Abbiamo optato per il pernotto in tenda e non ci siamo assolutamente pentiti. Dormire in riva al torrente é fantastico. Pur essendo una tenda, il nostro soggiorno é stato molto confortevole. Ottima anche la colazione e la cena che vengono servite nel casale storico.

Pros: Everything!! This place is absolutely beautiful and you can tell the owners put a LOT of love into their place, from the little touches, comfortable beds, cute lighting, and the amazing breakfast with farm fresh eggs. Everything was perfect!!
