Truly exceptional panaroma and very friendly hosts
Pros: Great view, great location; very friendly and accommodating hostess; easy conversation and great tips for activities during our stay; We were there for 5 nights and only used part of the large holiday home. It was clean, tastefully furnished and everything you needed during a stay was there, including sunny weather with temperatures sometimes exceeding 30°C 😀😎 Unforgettable for us: the armchair and the view of the lake and the mountains from the large living room window, the kitchen window and of course from the terrace. We would book again.
Cons: If there's something which we believe could be improved, it would be the mattresses in the bedroom we were in, because we found that they were quite sagging.

Good place for family near Normheimsund!
Pros: The house is situated in a picturesque place and the surroundings are peaceful. The cottage is very well equipped, many dishes of various types are provided, so you don't have to remember to constantly wash and clean. This is comfortable especially for people coming for a short stay. In addition, the hostess took great care of us and asked if we needed anything. To visit the house, you must have a car - the nearest shop or town is few kilometers away. Hiking is possible in the area, although more attractive places require a car trip.
Cons: Nothing.

Entspannung in der norwegischen Natur
Pros: Sehr freundliche Vermieterin, immer erreichbar für Fragen (Englisch). Super Lage mit Ausblick auf einen See. Viele Wasserfälle in der Region, sehr schöne Wandermöglichkeiten und viele Tipps der Vermieterin. TV und WLAN haben in allen Zimmern sehr gut funktioniert.
Cons: Wir benötigten drei Schlafzimmer, was hier problematisch ist, weil in einem Zimmer das Etagenbett unten für einen Erwachsenen zu eng ist und das obere Bett mit Decken belegt war. Hier könnte leicht noch etwas mehr Platz für Gäste geschaffen werden. Unser Sohn (1,89 m) konnte in seinem Zimmer im Obergeschoss nur gebückt laufen, da die Deckenhöhe bei ca 1,80 m liegt. Trotz der guten Lage ist die Straße recht dicht und man hört den ganzen Tag Verkehr, teilweise auch nachts (Motorräder stören dann besonders die Ruhe). Etwas überrascht waren wir von dem vielen persönlichen Gegenständen, die in den Schränken lagen und entsprechend weniger Platz für eigene Sachen boten. Wir haben daher aus dem Koffer gelebt. Außerdem hängen in allen Zimmern Fotos der Vermieterfamilie - man fühlt sich am Anfang als Eindringling bis man gelernt hat, die Fotos zu ignorieren.

Well loved home available for a relaxing and comfortable stay!
Pros: I am so glad that Booking.com is offering more options than just hotel rooms. This lovely home had everything (including spices!) we needed to make our own breakfast and dinner each night, then eating lunch out on our various treks to Norheimsund and beyond. Comfortable beds and gorgeous views over the lake made for a delightful respite after 3 weeks driving through Norway. We also appreciated having a washer and dryer so we could come home with clean clothes. All of the amenities of a well-loved home…cozy blankets, candles, a plethora of games…made for an enjoyable stay. Many thanks to lovely Gunnie who was so attentive to our needs and technological challenges😉

Pros: Bardzo klimatyczny domek. Wspaniałe duze okna z widokiem na jezioro. Zapach drewna, domek czysty. Kuchnia świetnie wyposażona. Pralka, suszarka, zmywarka. Bardzo wygodne łóżka. Gospodyni przemiła osoba, pomocna. Polecam.

Rustiek, fijn en welkom kortom aanrader!
Pros: Mooi, persoonlijk en verzorgd vakantiehuis met schitterend uitzicht aan meertje! Inchecken ging prima met de telefonische ondersteuning van de host.
Cons: Niets, wel jammer dat we de host niet in persoon gezien hebben. Ze was wel uitstekend telefonisch bereikbaar!
