Cons: Steep stair case if you have mobility issues

Pros: A traditional and old house in Loen which is really amazing. We had our dinner and breakfast with lake view. One of the most unforgettable place where we've stayed at so far.

Cons: Just bathroom is so small and toilet seat is next to the door.

Pros: This traditional house had lots of character. It was full of interesting items, old cots spinning wheel and an old loom. The house had a Washing machine that was vital in our holiday. The owner had thoughtfully kept an airer.The kitchen was fully equipped. The location in Loen valley was so beautiful.

Cons: The shower toilet and washing machine were in one small room. The stairs were steep and slippy. The house was a bit cluttered so my daughter found it a bit creepy. One person's character house,another's ghostly house.

Pros: Emplacement exeptionnel dans un petit village très charmant. Le cottage avait tout le confort nécessaire. Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce cottage typique norvégien.

Cons: Les escaliers sont un peu raides pour les personnes à mobilités réduites

Charming, cozy big space very close to town

Pros: The village house is utterly charming. After being there one day, I told my folks that I’d decided to stay forever and the Norwegian authorities would have to drag me out kicking and screaming. The heat works great and there was plenty of hot water. The views from the house are fantastic. There’s a church next door that was built in 18-something but there’s been a church there since 1330 and don’t forget to check out the 1,000 year-old cross by the church’s front door. The host was very kind and responsive. The price is quite attractive compared to the two hotels downtown and in my opinion you get so much more for your money with the village house. Finally, I measured the walk from the Joker grocery downtown to the front step of the house and it’s exactly 1/2 mile, or a 10-minute slow (and very pretty) walk.

Cons: There are a few very minor hiccups: a) there’s a small washing machine right next to the toilet. I’m sure many people will consider this to be a benefit, though. Also, if you’re 6’5 like me, you’re inevitably going to bump your head on the low doorframes. Both of these minor hiccups are vastly overshadowed by the pluses of the house.

Pros: Casa bellissima, che offre la possibilità un tuffo nel passato della vita sulle rive dei fiordi norvegesi. Ottima la disponibilità di parcheggiare l'auto di fronte alla porta d'ingresso.

Cons: Come spiegato nell'annuncio, l'accesso al piano superiore della casa non è agevolissimo per chi ha problemi di ambulazione (anziani, persone con disabilità, etc.). Nessun problema per gli altri.

Pros: Varázslatos hangulatú ház, csodálatos kilátással a fjordra.

Pros: Følelsen av historie og sjarm i et 150 år gammelt hus. En blanding av museum og bestemorshus. Veldig koselig, men også bekvemt og praktisk. God seng. Velutstyrt kjøkken. Veldig rent og pent!

Pros: Flott beliggenhet med utsikt rett ned på fjorden. Kort vei til Loenvatnet og Skyliften. Kjempekoselig og sjarmerende gammelt hus som var innredet med datidens møbler, men hadde alt av moderne fasiliteter.

Cons: Noen matvarer frøs i kjøleskapet
