Brand new cabin at Hovden cross-country skiing

Pros: Location, coziness, superb insulation and fantastic view.

Cons: Maybe the property owner could add a kettle.

Pros: Fantastic and beautiful cabin, Very modern , brand new. Incredible views, spacious, lovely bathrooms, second living room in attic perfect for kids hang out. Would definitely book again. Cabin is exactly 15 minutes drive from the ski slopes. We preferred this location it’s extremely quiet and beautifully fully laid out cabin plots with a lot of space in-between.

Cons: These are purely details we noticed and not negative comments as the cabin was beautiful. it’s very new but Doesn’t seem fully finished off, pictures not hung on the wall, not enough towel hooks for family in bathrooms, the attic living room was great but maybe a tv up there would be good for kids. Work surfaces were loose on the kitchen island work top, and not sealed with Silicon behind the sink, the front door key could only be opened from inside so had to enter through the laundry each time. Also when we arrived it was absolutely freezing and took 36 hours to hear the cabin up. There was no firewood at all so we went out and got some, suggest an option of 2 bags of wood which can be purchased. We left two bags for the next guests One other point was the induction hob was making a strange ringing noise we had to keep resetting it on the main circuit board. This wasn’t resolved before we left.

Traumhafte Hütte!!

Pros: In einer so wunderschönen, großen und stilvollen Unterkunft waren wir noch nie!! Wir waren von Anfang an verliebt in die Hütte und den Ausblick, den man von da hat. Die Natur um die Unterkunft herum ist einfach traumhaft und ruhig. Die Hütte an sich ist höchstmodern und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, so dass man selbst regnerische Tage gut und gemütlich im Inneren verbringen kann

Pros: Beste Unterkunft, die wir je hatten. Alles hat gut geklappt. Für die Schrankenöffnung bei der ersten Einfahrt, darauf achten, dass man zwischen 9 & 21 Uhr anreist und anrufen. In der Leitung bleiben, bis das Band zuende ist und eine Person ans Telefon geht. Top Lage, top Ausstattung, Hammer Aussicht auf den Berg. Alles neu (Urlaub 2024). Sehr groß und her. Immer wieder gerne! Best accommodation we've ever had. Everything went well. For the barrier opening at the first entrance, make sure you arrive between 9am and 9pm and call. Stay on the line until the tape ends and a person answers the phone. Great location, great facilities, amazing view of the mountain. Everything new (vacation 2024). Very big and nice. Always happy to come back!

Cons: Noch (?) keine Außensitzgelegenheit und keine Schränke für Kleidung. War uns aber bei 2 Nächten nicht so wichtig. Still (?) no outdoor seating and no cupboards for clothes. But that wasn't important to us as we were only staying for 2 nights.p
