Cozy Home with Sauna

Pros: Truly wonderful and cozy house with a stunning view of the river. It was very warm and comfortable inside. The hosts were exceptionally helpful.The TV has YouTube and Netflix. Highly recommended!

Beautiful house with an amazing view.

Pros: Tha house is absolutely amazing with old style and charisma. Cozy with a fireplace and Rocking chairs. Very clean. All beds are comfortable. Bathroom is new renovated and kitchen is Fully equipped. The view from the window is beautiful - River, mountains and forest. It's very picturesque. It has big terrace with the roof and furniture, also grill for cooking outside. It is located 10 minutes by car from Lillehammer, and 10 minutes from Hunderfossen Adventure Park, 3 minutes from Jorekstad fritidsbad. Dog 🐕 friendly ❤️. We had a great time there. The hosts are very friendly and the apple juice from their garden as a welcome drink was very tasty. Will definitely recommend.

Good value, comfortable and authentic stay in quiet village.

Pros: We spent February half term here 2025, well placed, situated about 10 minutes from Hafjell ski resort (North) and Lillehammer (South). The house is a typical Scandinavian home, spacious, comfortable, clean, warm, with wonderful views of the river. The owners left us plenty of logs for the log burner, which we could also use outside cooking on the fire pit in the garden. This was great fun in the snow. There is also a sauna in the basement. We had a couple of queries which were answered very quickly by Inger and when we had a heavy snowfall, the owners cleared the drive so we could go out in our hire car. The garden was visited by many birds, including tree sparrows, which are uncommon in England.

Cons: If you like modern and sleek Scandi style, this place is not for you. If you like an authentic experience then this cottage may be right up your street. Good value too!

Pros: Fredelig og god beliggenhet samtidig som kort vei til Aulestad, Hunderfossen og severdigheter i Lillehammer. Huset mangler TV, men vi klarte oss godt uten. Veldig deilig å sitte ute og nyte stillheten utenom den avslappende lyden fra elva.

Pros: I had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful home near Lillehammer! The view from the veranda was absolutely stunning – waking up to the peaceful river and colorful autumn scenery was such a treat. The house was incredibly clean and well-maintained, with every amenity we could need. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the living room with its cozy fireplace and board games made for a relaxing evening. It was perfect for our family, especially with a baby. The provided crib was a great touch, and the large garden was ideal for enjoying the crisp fall air. The location was fantastic, just a short drive to local attractions like Maihaugen and Hafjell, but also quiet enough for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a serene and comfortable stay!
