Perfect stay for a road trip

Pros: Absolutely the location and the view at the waterfalls is stunning. The toilettes were really clean and they add one shower where you can also pay by card even if I recommend to bring some coons with you. Shower cost 10Nok . If you need cutlery and pans for cooking at the receptions will give to you for free. Important to give back when you leave 🙂

Nice cheap place with a waterfall!

Pros: In the area there's not much other places to stay, so good location. Also nice price. The amenities were good, shared bathroom clean, the water boiler and electric oven in room was helpful, also we used the fridge and the heater. Beds are ok, but slightly short (I am 1.80m). Strict rules about moving furniture so if you want to eat outside bring your own chairs / table. Shower 10 NOK for 4 minutes, actually it was enough if you don't need to wash your hair. You can park next to the house. Tap for drinking water! For 3 people very good price, just need to make sure to clean up after.

Cons: Beds are ok, but slightly short (I am 1.80m). The room had a strong fish smell that remained with us for multiple days after... Probably guests before us ate something but it was really nasty and strong, we kept doors and window open all evening (~5h) and still it smelled.

Pros: The best waterfall view and ambiance, friendly and accommodative staff. Kids enjoy to play barefoot on the grass and trampoline in the play area. And take a dip on the water (still too cold, tho).. There's electric stove, small fridge in the room. - plates, spoons, and basic kitchen amenities can be borrowed in the reception.. Easy bus connection, easy walk from bus stop connecting Voss-Gudvangen. But consider to cross the big road as I can't see the pedestrian crossing nearby.

Cons: Nothing :( but please note, we have to wash and clean everything before leave, put the trash on the waste container. But I didn't mind, as it's value for the money in this area.

Nice location, nice waterfall, good price.

Pros: Decent amenities, clean toilets and showers. Room is nice and fairly spacious, enough space to unpack bags.

Cons: Ventilation in room is not very good, need to open the window (which is facing the road and can be a bit noisy).

Pros: The location was excellent. The waterfall in the background was stunning. The room was basic but totally value for money. The toilet & bathroom was super clean. I totally recommend this place.

Pros: We had a stove in the same room which served our purpose. we need to pay extra for shower, they already mentioned about it. Location is super good, just next to water falls.

Perfect base for visiting Bergen, Voss and Flam.

Pros: Perfect sized hut with two bunk beds, fridge, water cooker and dining table. Very cozy and practical for a couple of nights. Good wifi, clean shared bathroom. Well insulated. We didn't hear the waterfall when we closed the door. Good communication with the owner during office hours, which allowed us to arrive after office hours. Perfectly located. We visited both Bergen and the Naeroyfjord (Flam) from here, and had a great meal in Voss.

Cons: No cutlery, plates or glasses available, but we knew that, so we brought our own. Pay-per-use shared shower with short timeframe. You pay for a certain amount of water, which turns out was not enough to take one shower (get wet, soap up, wash the soap off), even if you switch the water off when you're soaping up.

Pros: We have got mixed feelings about this property. Things worked fairly well by and large and we've got nothing to say about cleanliness, location and staff. Things worked out and it was really nice being by the majestic Tvindefossen waterfall. The location was great, fairly ok to reach Bergen and other interesting gems on the opposite side. Cons: To begin with, the apartment or so it was labelled, did NOT have any cutleries, basic pots / cooking equipment despite being furnished with a kitchen / sink. The lack of this stuff was NOT advertised when we made this reservation. We checked in pretty late and we were taken aback when we arrived hungry in the middle of the night without the possibility of cooking anything. In the next days we used our small camping equipment to get by but I guess this set us off to a bad start. Also, there were not many places where to put / hang things. We had to put things in piles on chairs / floor as there was a serious lack of shelves, hangers and so on. The apartment was generally really aseptic. I understand also that perhaps you may pay less than Norwegian average BUT please, advertise these things clearly and make sure people are aware beforehand as I could see we were not the only one surprised by this.

Pros: The cabin was cozy and comfortable. The bunk beds seem to be designed rather for smaller ones, but for my size (178 cm) it was more than sufficient and comfortable enough to have a good sleep. I like the little terrace in front of the cabin with a small bench and beautiful view of the Tvindefossen waterfall. Regarding the waterfall. It might be a little bit noisy for someone, but it is quite quiet inside due to the cabin wall isolation. The toilets and showers are shared, but quite clean and sufficient to handle the number of camping inhabitants. It is possible to wash the clothes as well. The toilets and washing machines are available against the payment with 10 NOK coins. It is possible to buy the coins at the reception.

Pros: We booked a cabin and were very pleased with our stay. The cabin was clean, cozy, and warm, equipped with a stove and a sink. The stunning Tvindefossen waterfall is just a stone’s throw away and absolutely worth a visit. The Voss area is beautiful and picturesque, offering plenty of opportunities for water activities such as rafting, canoeing, and kayaking. The booking process is fully automated, which is quite rare for Norwegian campgrounds and makes everything even more convenient.
