A peaceful and stunning location overlooking the fjords
Pros: A peaceful and stunning location overlooking the fjords. The accommodation was clean and well-maintained, equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We even got to see the northern lights right through the window which was beautiful. We visited during winter, and it was easy to keep the place warm and cozy. The atmosphere was inviting and charming, both inside and out.
Cons: The WiFi was quite slow. The area around the house looked a bit messy with wood and bits of random junk, probably leftovers from a collapse that happened a while ago, not a deal breaker, but it's there.

Pros: The house was well-equipped and the living space was comfortable. The heating went on all day, the blankets were also quite warm. We loved the view too and that we could get a bit closer to the sea. Good to know: The house is only accessible (if you are not going by car) by walking on the edge of the main road where there is no sidewalk. Also, there is a longer and a bit slippery stairway down to the house.
Cons: Negative: You cannot reach the room with the bunk beds if you have a big tummy, every path at the first floor is narrow. It was a bit sad that there was no covered terrace on the guest side.

A wonderful quite place with an amazing view on the fjord!
Pros: A really wonderful view on the fjord! A very quiet place 10 minutes by car from Trondheim. 90 steps to get to the house, but it’s absolutely worth it!
Cons: Some bedside lamps are missing in the bedroom.

Perfect localization, everything what was needed was there.
Pros: Localization next to water was perfect, I felt like in Solaris (Lem's book), really recommend the place for couple day stay.
Cons: Stairs which lead to house from the road were little scarry to use :)

Pros: We loved the location, gorgeous views, right on the water and with the sounds of the waves lapping on the shore. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Thank you to Michael for providing such a beautiful place to stay!

Pros: The location is fabulous immediately at the sea. It is possible to walk down a stairs and enter the sea for a swim. The apartment has a large porch where you can sit on lounge banks and enjoy the views. It was the end of our holiday, so the availability of a washer/dryer was also very handy
Cons: One has to go down some stairs which was ok for us, but maybe hard for people that do not walk easily. The kitchen equipment could be improved (e.g. nespresso type of coffee machine and a knife to slice the bread)

Amazing views!
Pros: The views from this property are amazing and really that is the making of this property. The apartment is well equipped and has a nice modern feel. The owners have taken time to make it feel homely, there is a washer and dryer available to use and a hair dryer which was a nice touch. Location wise you're only a short drive into Trondheim so easy to see the sights. We saw either dolphins or porpoise one evening out in the fjord which were spectacular to see.
Cons: There are unfortunately a few downsides to this property. You park just off the road and the designated parking place is small with part of the road crumbling down the hill. There is a longer parking place nearby that we decided to park in instead. As described when you read about the property there are a lot of steps down to get to it. This wasn't a problem for us, the steps are well made and easy to manage but if you have any mobility issues or have young children I don't think this would be ideal. Inside the property there is a spiral staircase to get upstairs to the bedroom. It is extremely tight and a bit wobbly. We decided not to take our suitcases upstairs as a result. The beds were very soft, this is down to individual taste but for us they were just too soft which didn't lead to a good sleep. The property is made up of two apartments, you have your own decked area each but it isn't as private as I had thought and you are mindful of not making too much noise, especially when out on the decking.
