Nice Norwegian Landscape

Pros: An amazing view to the island, comfortable and well equipped house, very stylish and new. The host supported us very well and improved our initial booking conditions.

Very nice

Pros: The sauna and that the apartment was warm and nice.

Cons: I didn’t realize it was a basement apartment

Spectacular view

Pros: What a lovely house! Comfortable, clean, and spacious. The view is truly spectacular! We enjoyed our stay very much.

Pros: Host was helpful. We had some hiccups but he was quick to resolve. Location is superb.

Pros: Location and view on the lake were superb! Bonus are the sauna and huge terrace outside.

Cons: Other electric car at the property loading in front of entrance, which made it more difficult for us guests with 2 cars to park in front of cabin. After contact with host this was resolved quickly.

Beautiful view, huge space, and very peaceful.

Pros: What a view! We were glad we paid extra for the upstairs unit with access to the deck. Amazingly quiet, even with the road at the bottom of the hill. We didn't use the loft because there was no way to keep it dark during the early Norway morning.

Cons: It was a bit of a pain to bring towels and sheets all the way from the US, so it's probably worth spending the extra money on them. The expectation is that you have to do a thorough cleaning of the space you used, so that made it take longer than usual to pack up and leave. We had respectful downstairs neighbors but you are taking a chance as the sound carries through the floor.

Pros: Amazing view facing the lake. We used the sauna and it was very nice. Great price for what you get.

One night stay

Pros: We rented the down stairs apartment. It was high standard and comfortable beds. Had a big bathroom and a small kitchen. Good size living space with a tv so we could watch the European football Championships. Good cleaning supplies so that we could clean after ourselves. Owner was easy to reach when we had a problem with the code to the door. We were very happy with our stay

Cons: You will hear the people renting the upstairs apartment. There were no extra pillows, we like to have an extra pillow when we sleep. The kitchen has a very basic toolset, we did miss some things but managed to cook dinner without them. There is no freezer, we had icepacks for our cooling bag so could not refreeze them. It says that in one bedroom there is one double bed and one bunk bed but that is wrong. It is only one bunk bed but the bottom bunk is larger, a twin size.

Pros: The landscape was stunning, and the house too. We had a problem with the door of our apartment and the owner offered us a free upgrade to the better part of the house, as it was empty. The owner was very servicial, serious, and kind to us at every moment.

Dreamy house on the hill

Pros: Very dreamy little house on the hill. The bottom floor had a sauna that we enjoyed very much and everything felt cozy. Probably the best experience would be when renting the whole house.

Cons: Some of the kitchen lights didn't work and when there are also people above you, the steps can be heard really really well. Besides that it is a very quiet environment.
