Really amazing apartment, super practical, yet cosy, spectacular mountain views

Pros: Overall, apartment was super practical yet cosy with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, combined living/dining room/kitchen, laid out really well and with truly spectacular views from the living. Gas fireplace worked very well - not 100% the same as a log fireplace, but a lot more practical and a lot less effort and fire risk. Colour scheme and furniture + decor was really nice and classy as well. Worked great for our family of 4, 2 adults, 2 children 8 and 10.

Cons: There was really nothing to dislike. 3 very minor snags: 1) the parking garage underneath didn't work when we were there, but that will be fixed in future, and there was lots of parking just 40 meters away in any case. 2) Also, ski-in, ski out doesn't work late in season when there is no snow on the road, but again that is to be expected, and the local lift (Kikut) is then a 1 minute drive (and modest parking fee) away. 3) Rural Norway (rightly) takes recycling very much more seriously than the UK, with need to sort into 7+ different categories, yet there is only one bin (bucket) in the house. Might be nice with at least a dedicated food bin in future.

Loved staying in this beautiful cabin!

Pros: The cabin is so beautifully decorated and well maintained. The facilities are good overall and having the garage included was super useful. The cabin was a 5min walk from the kikut slope if wearing ski boots. The host/agency were so helpful when we contacted them with questions and we are really grateful for that. Every in the group loved the cabin and commented on how nice the interior was. I would definitely recommend the cabin.

Cons: Not the fault of the cabin but it is a pity the ski bus doesn't come to kikut. A toaster and microwave would be handy but not sure if these things are popular in Norway.

Amazing place - can highly recommend!

Pros: Absolutely loved staying here during Christmas! Communication with Andreas was super, the place was amazing - we love the interior decor, it was very clean and we just really enjoyed our stay! It definitely exceeded our expectations - thank you so much!

Pros: Plass til mange, gode fasiliteter, ikke så lytt mellom soverom. Alt man trenger er der! Bare å «flytte» rett inn!

Cons: Det var vanskelig å få varme på badet. Ble kaldt å være der samt etter en dusj. Litt vel trangt i yttergang med masse yttertøy osv.

Toller Aufenthalt

Pros: Der Aufenthalt war so angenehm und gemütlich. Absolutes Highlight ist der Gasofen und der tolle Blick auf Geilo. Die Küche ist völlig ausreichend ausgestattet. Die Betten war sehr bequem und die Unterkunft sehr sauber. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
