Pros: At first, we were a bit concerned about the location of the house, but the stay turned out to exceed all our expectations. Despite the narrow road, the house is accessible by car — even with a larger vehicle. After driving it a couple of times, we quickly got used to it. The only occasional delay came from the sheep crossing the road, which added to the charm of the experience. The people living nearby were incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with, which made us feel very welcome. The house itself is spacious and equipped with all the basic essentials. One of the highlights was the presence of their adorable cats, who completely stole our hearts. The surrounding nature is stunning — there's a large hiking area just uphill, and when the weather is nice, you can enjoy a swim in the lake nearby. This is a perfect spot for calm, slow-paced travel and truly immersing yourself in the beauty of Norwegian nature.

Cons: However, a few things could be improved. The house would benefit from more attention to detail — especially in terms of cleanliness. For example, not all dishes were properly cleaned, and we missed having trash bins in the bedroom and bathroom. These are small details, but they would make the stay even more comfortable.

Pros: Some items in the cottage are still under construction and the mobile data is very weak or zero at home. You can make a fire in a fireplace, if you can. And good so! The place is for nature lovers. The Stor Valley is beautiful, there are 11 waterfalls in the rocky wall of Tvårrane and 3 bigger, one of them some hundred meters away from the cottage. A big see. And you become the greatest kitchen and living room with a panoramic view in the whole Norway!

Very friendly hosts in a beautiful, secluded location.

Pros: Secluded in a beautiful remote valley with a large waterfall audible while you sleep. Hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Very large and spacious.

Cons: Only one road in/out of the valley, so if it’s blocked or closed you can’t get to the place.
