A fabulous spot close to the main sights in Bergen.

Pros: Fabulous location. Couldn’t afk for better. Cute little property with everything you need for a comfy stay close to Bergen.

An amazing location!

Pros: The apartment is in an amazing location. You can walk to Bryggen, the Fløyen funicular, the supermarket and restaurants. A fantastic cafe on the corner!! Great to have a washing machine.

Cons: There is no where to hang clothes other than the hooks at the front door for jackets. No bedside tables so we moved chairs next to the bed. Only little things that could be rectified.

Great apartment in a fantastic location!

Pros: Nicely renovated apartment and the photos are accurate. Had everything we needed and the location was great! Communication was fantastic and information provided was so helpful - access in, parking nearby, etc. I highly recommend this apartment in Bergen.

Beautifully renovated house in central location.

Pros: The location is fantastic, quiet street, cery central. It's an old house that has been renovated beautifully, while retaining a lot of the original charm. Both the dining and lounge area were pleasant and cozy, perfect to kill some rainy hours and recover from travelling. The washer/dryer was very convenient and the bathroom is warm enough that we could easily dry more delicate fabrics overnight.

Cons: The original building comes with limitations, such as the narrow staircases and low attic bedrooms that are very apparent in the pictures. This wasn't an issue for us, but may be for people with difficulties in tight spaces or mobility issues.

Perfect to discover the city

Pros: Very clean Kitchen with lots of equipments Really comfortables beds. The localization is perfect, near to the center. Door opens with a code given in a very clear document sent by email the day of arrival.

Cons: Narrow stairs to have our luggage with us in the bedrooms but it is the charm of the typical houses of Bergen

Living downtown in Bergen in a typical Norwegian house.

Pros: House is pretty downtown, walking distance from every main Bergen sight-seen. Easy check in with a door code. House completely restructured and furniture renewed. Kitchen well furnished. All clean. Host was always available.

Cons: We are a tall family and bedrooms ceiling isn't high enough to stand up completely.

Pros: Newly renovated unit with modern deco. Clean and comprehensive kitchen facilities. Air conditioning was a life savior on the hot summer day we arrived. Great location close to main attractions.

Cons: First set of narrow stairs to get to the main living and dining, and second set of narrow stairs to get up to the bedroom - we had to leave our large heavy luggages at the bottom. Low headroom at the attic bedrooms.

Very modern and clean but felt very tight in space

Pros: Great location. Very modern interior. A great arrival PDF booklet was sent beforehand with useful information. A very well kitted out kitchen. Good communication with the host. Nice and warm with underfloor heating in the bathroom.

Cons: It was quite small but this seems a standard size for places that we compared before booking. It was quite frustrating that there wasn't a single shelf or small set of drawers which could have really helped as 2 friends living in the same room but there were 2 big bean bags which were down the side of the bed. There seems to be different priorities in the use of space, each to their own prefernce I suppose, but we did end up having to move these bean bags into the kitchen out of the bedroom just in order to get into bed. They just got in the way. We ended up living out of our suitcases in the kitchen, with my belongings/ case on the floor and my friends on the breakfast bar. You can imagine how a shelf would have been handy. There were some hooks near the door for coats but even an additional one to hang a towel for it to dry etc would have been great. A lot of unnecessary decor candles and ornaments which look great but really got in the way and made the lack of space even more apparent. We moved some decor off the window sill just to make the most of the little space.

A week in the heart of Bryggen I Bergen

Pros: The apartments is located perfectly in the centre of Bryggen giving you the best starting point for your adventures in Bergen. You can tell immediately that is has been newly renovated, it’s very pretty and clean. The host was very efficient in responding to any questions. I also received very useful guide on how to check in and what the apartment has to offer. There is a French press and a coffee machine to make your morning cup, fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine if you are travelling light. We had a good time.

Cons: These are recommendation notes more than a negative feedback: From the images it looks like a two floor apartment but there are actually three floors with extremely narrow staircase. The top floor is under the roof with tilted walls and tiny door into the bedroom so be sure you don’t bump your head. There were no window shields installed yet in the bedrooms so bring your eye mask if you want to get a good sleep here during long bright summer nights. There is no storage space anywhere, no shelves, no wardrobe so we were living out of the suitcase for 6 days. Also no shelf in the shower corner where you could keep your stuff. There is no shower gel/ shampoo provided so bring your own! The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances but there are no basic ingredients such as coffee, tea, sugar, salt, oil, dish soap so you need to get your own.

Pros: Great location, very clean. Has everything you need!

Cons: Would love some hooks in the bathroom to hang towels.
