The DreamHouse - inner City Center - Old Town

Cozy and comfortable in a great location.

Pros: We enjoyed the cozy and warm atmosphere. The bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable and there were more than enough pillows provided. We used the kitchen and washing machine extensively during our stay. It’s close to the socks and waters, being a 4-5 minute walk to the fish market and Fløibanen. Also, there’s a rema 100 grocery store less than 3 minutes away.

Cons: The path to the apartment is on an incline/decline gradient. We had two large luggage and very careful when coming down and up. It’s not an issue as long as you take your time.

Great location, beautiful apartment

Pros: Beautiful apartment in a typical quaint Bergen house but converted and renovated with modern decor. Located on a small quiet street and in an excellent location in the city centre, near the harbour and walking distance to shops, market, boulangeries, etc. We were a family of 3 and we had a wonderful time. We had great communication with the host. Highly recommend! I’ve attached photos of the apartment as well as the central harbour, about 3 min walk away.

Fantastic location and lovely little bijou flat.

Pros: Lovely little self contained flat. Loved having a lounge space and kitchen. All really nice fittings and crockery in the kitchen.

Cons: Shower is tiny and bed was just a normal double and a bit squishy for me.

Pros: Good facilities, beautifully furnished. Lovely thoughtful touches like slippers! Felt at home straight away.

Cons: The bedroom is small, not much space around the bed. But there is a sofa bed too so no drama.

Pros: Nicely presented and modernised older apartment. Well located with easy access to the best of Bergen. Owner Anita very helpful.

Cons: Access via a steep cobblestone path is a challenge for anyone with bad knees. Apartment is a bit compact.

Pros: The apartment is picture perfect. Modern yet quaint at the same time. Located up a cobblestone hill made it more exciting and authentic. The owners detailed instructions on everything Dreamhouse made this a dreamy stay.

Pros: Anita is an excellent communicator and was very helpful in assisting us with extra nights in another accommodation as she was full.

Cons: The bed is not the most comfortable

Top Location in quaint Bergen.

Pros: The flat is in an amazing location with two supermarkets, a bottle shop and a bakery close by. Being on the ground floor there is easy access with your suitcases. The flat was exceptionally clean and it was great to have access to a washing machine. The host was very kind and left lovely touches like tea/coffee/olive oil and so on. Highly recommended the 5 hour ferry trip to Flam and the bus back. Bergen is a wonderful place to visit.

Pros: Anita is an excellent host and was easy to contact if we had questions but she wasn’t at all intrusive. The apartment is ideally placed in the City Centre and the old town is just a short walk. The apartment was extremely comfortable and well equipped and for a small apartment has plenty of storage. It was easy to use the key safe and everything in the apartment worked well. The apartment was warm and cosy with a comfortable bed.

Enjoyable stay in Bergen

Pros: Everything! The host is very friendly and will send over a list with all info you need. This is a very nice and cozy home that I would wish I have

Cons: If you are travelling with big luggages, be mindful there will be a slope right outside the door. (The host will share some tips; we arrived on a rainy day but it’s still manageable)
