An Unforgettable Nordic Escape

Pros: We had an amazing stay here. The terrace is absolutely stunning — waking up to mountain views and watching the sunrise with a morning coffee was something special. It’s peaceful, quiet, and feels very private. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and beautifully prepared. Everything we needed was there, and it felt very welcoming from the moment we arrived. The sauna experience was a highlight for us. Heating up properly and then jumping into the cold water afterwards felt incredibly refreshing — almost reborn. A real Nordic ritual we’ll never forget. The jacuzzi wasn’t working during our stay, but that just gives us another reason to come back and try it next time. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Cons: Didn’t like the gray weather, but that’s Bergen :)

Pros: We spent a weekend here and honestly didn’t want to leave. The view over the fjord is beautiful and the place feels calm and private. It was exactly what we needed to relax. The apartment was clean, cozy, and well equipped. We especially enjoyed using the sauna and jacuzzi in the evening. A real highlight was having fresh crabs the host caught that same morning — such a cool and authentic experience. We also appreciated the option for a late check-out for an additional fee, which gave us a few extra relaxing hours before heading home. Everything was easy and comfortable. We would definitely come back.

Exactly what we hoped for

Pros: Honestly, this place exceeded our expectations. The view is the kind you just sit and look at for a while — mountains, water, open sky. It feels calm and private, far from noise, but still close enough to Bergen to go in whenever you want. The apartment was very clean and well taken care of. You can tell the host puts effort into keeping everything in great condition. The big TV was actually a nice surprise — great for chilling in the evening after being out all day. Getting to Bergen was easy and quick, which made the location perfect for us. Quiet surroundings with nature all around, but not isolated. We’d definitely come back.
