Fabulous family stay

Pros: Fantastic apartment right in the heart of Ålesund. Very cosy, warm, nice hot shower and very comfortable beds. Kitchen well stocked and great communication from host. Highly recommend.

Pros: The apartment is very beautiful with a space to hang around together.

Cons: The bed is very soft

wonderful charming old apartment in central Alesund

Pros: very central and charming old apartment with classic decoration. Feel like travel on time capsule. Has all the modern day amenities: toaster, hairdryer, washing machine etc

Cons: a pity no lift but it's advertised without lift access

Pros: Helpful contact with the staff, extremely well equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, quiet, clean, very pretty Jugendstil furnishings and fun to read the books about Alesund. Overall excellent

Pros: Great location. Easy to park on the street outside - use the Easypark app to choose the timings you need.

Cons: It would have been nice to have a pint of fresh milk in the fridge to use the coffee machine / have a cup of tea. The long life milk pods are always awful so we never use them.

Lovely Alesund apartment

Pros: Great location in the centre of Alesund. The Eurospar supermarket is just around the corner. Really liked the 1905 feel inside the apartment. Well equipped kitchen with good quality saucepans. Check-in and communication with owners was very easy. A comfortable 2 night stay.

Cons: Paid parking in front on the street is from 8-4 pm, free on Sunday. Don't forget to pay or move your car. A plug would be good in kitchen sink to wash dishes by hand.

Like living in a real life doll house

Pros: Me and my parents stayed for a night at the large apartment on the top floor and I have nothing but good things to say of our short but lovely stay. The apartment is well located in the historic city center and 2 blocks away from a parking. Communication was easy and getting the keys too. The apartment itself is incredibly charming, with vintage furniture and beautiful wallpaper, the beds were also confortable. Everything was also very clean and organized.

Cons: The only thing missing really was a tv, the rest was perfect.

Beautiful authentic hideaway in the heart of the city.

Pros: We only had one night here but if you want to immerse yourself in the Ålesund vibe this is the place for you! We loved the period decor complete with Charles Rennie Macintosh wallpaper. The owner has put a lot of effort into making it a very unique and memorable accommodation. It also has every modern comfort except (thankfully) a horrible wide screen tv that would ruin the character.

Cons: Nothing we didn’t like about the property but weren’t sure about the parking permits so just parked in the zone 2 further up the street and was ok.

Pros: Perfect location; lovely decor and style; well equipped; early check-in
