Stunning setting with a cozy yet luxury feel

Pros: Beautiful setting easily reached by the Hafjell shuttle bus, away from the crowds but still convenient; room size generous and decor clever blend of old and new; sauna, pool and steam room were very welcome at end of day; plenty of variety at breakfast; friendly and responsive staff; warm

Cons: Restaurant was closed when we arrived on Sunday (and Monday), so we had to walk to larger resorts in the snow both nights. Restaurant offers small 'fine dining' set menu - quite expensive but memorably good (but not ideal for multiple nights). Grocery delivery options or simply more notice would have improved the experience.

It was a perfect spot for our winter holiday, we will come again!

Pros: Everything was perfect, the apartment was nice and cost and had a beautiful view, location was great so you could start cross country skiing right from the hotel. Food was excellent in the restaurant, but also the little kitchen in the apartment was perfectly equipped to prepare snacks

Pros: Very nice view, nice heated floor, with simple kitchenware. Breakfast was simple and nice.

Cons: Room is rather small, breakfast portion is limited even though is buffet type. Pastry was very nice but no refill.

Best place to spend your winter break!

Pros: We had a great stay at Ilsetra. We absolutely love the location!!! The staff were very responsive and made us feel very welcome. Apartments are small but have everything you need. Breakfast is very good as well. We will definitely return next year!!

Cons: Fitness room could be a bit better equipped

Great cozy hotel, ideal for cross-country skiing vacation

Pros: Very nice hotel with rooms like small apartments, with a stove and cooking possibilities. Cozy, warm rooms with floor heating. Great place to stay for a winter vacation, for cross-country skiing, for example. The ski tracks are directly outside the hotel buildings, which are all wonderfully decorated in traditional Norwegian way. Delicious breakfast, but be fast - the breakfast is until 10, but if you come at 9:40, many tasty things are already gone!

Pros: + Arrival to the hotel - even in February the road was very well prepared despite leading to the altitude of nearly 1000m + Easy parking + Good breakfast + Possible to put on skis directly at the hotel and go to the slopes or for a cross-country trip

Cons: - It was not possible to use the swimming pool, no explanation on site.

Pros: has excellent access to both xc tracks and mountain slopes; staff are friendly and helpful

Cons: no laundry facilities at the hotel, too far from public transport or shops

Bra skidåkning och bra hotell

Pros: Jag gilla hotellet samt läget frukosten va toppen, mysigt med en utepool och bastu!

Cons: Jag gilla inte när man inte städar ordentligt tömmer kaffe maskiner å torkar av ordentligt samt tömmer askkoppen så det va minus med städninge! Sen hade vi missat att meddela ankomsttid men vi va inne vid receptionen kl 12 å fråga om vårt rum var klar men hon sa mellan 15-16 så vi åkte iväg å kolla på annat va tillbaka igen vid 15 å då är det inte klart än när kl är 16 så är vårat rum fortfarande inte klart å det tycker jag är riktigt dåligt dom har vetat att vi varit där sedan kl 12 å ändå inte ansträngt sig det är sjukt dåligt! Dom som jobba på hotellet va inte jätte trevliga stod mest å tryckte i ett hörn å ingen som verkade trivas med sitt jobb!

Cons: Het ontbijt was goed. Maar elke dag was precies hetzelfde ontbijt. Geen variatie en weinig gezonde keuzes
